The temple doors opened. Leon could feel the warm air hit him from inside, His thoughts wandered to Flora. He knew she would be alright, but was this what she wanted? For him to seek vengeance? No. It wasn't vengeance he was after. Adjusting his sword, he stepped into the temple. He had to make sure no one felt the pain he had felt. The pain of nearly losing a trusted friend. That kokiri couldn't be allowed to hurt anyone else.
Inside it was surprisingly warm. He could see several mirrors, all pointing in a direction away from the large door opposite of his party. The mirror closest to the white-haired boy shone with an eerie light. He reached out, but found the light was extremely hot. Maybe if he could focus the light on the door, it would melt or burn. He turned to his party, "Any ideas?"
Puzzle: Easier to describe not in character. There are four mirrors, one in each corner of the room. The SE mirror is the one shining a light, which is hitting the wall closest to itself (south wall) The SE mirror can not be turned west or east. it can only be turned north or south. the NE mirror is facing east, and can only be turned east or west. the NW mirror is facing North, and can only be turned to face north or south. The SW mirror is the only mirror that can face any direction, and can therefore be used to destroy the door. Good Luck. (Sorry for easy puzzle, I am up for suggestions.)
Leon felt like calling out, but no one would hear him. He was falling into black darkness. Swirling and black, he fell into the darkest reaches of his being. He felt there was no use living. The one person he swore he would protect, was limp in his arms. The white-haired boy had caught her as she fell. He had heard her cry, and her words. Leon only felt emptiness now. Cold, black emptiness.
Damion glanced at the fox currently latched to his arm. He snapped his arm back in attempt to send it flying. The dark-haired Kokiri looked at the boy, who was holding that idiotic girl. "Hmph. I guess you'r not him. I guess there is no reason for me to stay in this shitty place." He turned and began walking towards the city exit. He stopped suddenly, and turned to Leon, smiling. "If You want to avenge her, meet me in the temple that will rise in a few hours time. I had fun playing with you, so don't die too quickly." Damion laughed and continued, walking out of sight to Termina Field.
Leon's tears streamed down his face. He couldn't do anything. He couldn't protect Flora. He may as well go home. He looked down at Flora and noticed, with a jolt, She was still breathing! Leon, picked her up quickly and as gently as he could. He had to get her to a doctor!
Leon slipped through the chaos of South Clocktown without being seen. Flora was his friend and all, but that chicken of hers was a danger the white-haired boy wanted no part of.
Leon had chosen this place for some training, and some conversation. He had bought some sturdy dummies and had invited Echi to come train with him. The swordsman smiled and looked up at the sky. Maybe someone else would come too? Since he had started his travels with Flora by his side, he had made so many friends. Was it Flora who had done it? Or had she merely opened the door for change? He set those thoughts aside and began his rather rigorous training regiment, waiting for his friend, and anyone else who wished to join.

Leon stood in front of the temple doors. He now wore a long green scarf to protect against the chill that had set in. His normal green shirt and shorts were replaced with a black coat and some pants made of a material he had never heard of in the forest. On his belt rested his newest weapon, a hookshot given to him by a kindly shop-keep. He adjusted the sword on his back, and turned to his companions. "Are you all ready?"
Leon felt lost. In the middle of a fight between swords he always knew what to do, but between two friends.. Leon knew they shouldn't be fighting, the pain in Floras voice made his heart ache. The young swordsman knew he had to say something, anything, to help his friends. He leaned down and began with "Cadenza, you.." but was caught off guard by a scream.
Leon spun, and saw a boy. He was no taller than Leon with medium length black hair. He wore a red kokiri tunic but, he couldn't be a kokiri could he? His arm was outstretched towards a shop, its windows shattered, its interior burning. He glared right at Leon with a maddening smile.
His voice was deeper then a childs voice should have been, more commanding. but something about it chilled the white-haired boy to the core. And all the red-clothed kokiri said was, "I FOUND YOU!" as he leveled his hand, and an angry red bolt of energy shot towards Leon. All Leon could do was extend his arm, tossing Cadenza and Echi towards some luggage as he stood protectively in front of Flora. The only thought racing through his mind, was this the end?

AN: And the friends are interupted by a malevolent figure! Will our heroes overcome this obstacle? Will Leon live to finally figure out what it means to have friends? Will Echi EVER get candy?
Leon winced at the painful looking scrapes on Flora's knees. The white-haired boy was a little upset that she hadn't said anything but was more irritated that it was Cadenza's fault. He had figured such a small mouse had to be a bit more injured, and she should have said something.
Leon did, however, know that it was between Cadenza and Flora. The two friends knew a lot more about trust then he did, and obviously Flora didn't like that trust being broken. Leon wondered what it was like to have so much trust in someone? How long had it taken for Flora and Cadenza to be such good friends. In truth, Leon felt a bit left out.
Leon didn't have a lot of time to worry about that however, as he felt.. something. It was the feeling of angry eyes watching him. He turned a bit carefully, to seem natural and to not alert his friends to anything that might cause them harm. But there was nothing there. Leon knew he felt something, some sort of malevolent presence, but where was it?

Authors note: So A villain named Damion will be entering soon, and this thread leads into a quest "The Outcast Duel". If anyone wants to notice this angry Kokiri boy he is Black haired, Eyes as black as coal, and wears a red kokiri tunic. And Cadenza you will have to make a choice to stay with Flora for the duration of the quest, or come with me and Echi, as Flora will be injured. Thank you for your cooperation.
Leon smiled, happy that Flora and Cadenza would be ok, he took the the small mouse as Echi scrambled up his arm, and told Flora of their goals.
"We would be happy to have you with us Flora, but Deku didn't have to send you after us, I wasn't lonely." Leon laughed a bit, but he knew it was a lie.
He had missed Flora since he left the village, she had been his first real friend and the thought of leaving her had been almost crushing. The thought of her traveling with him made him happier than he thought he could be.
He had a sudden wonder though, why did it feel as if his heart had stopped when he saw her fall? What was that ache in his chest when he had left her? He didn't understand these feelings, but he did know that he would protect her with his life.

Hearing Flora's pained words and seeing the unmoving mouse, Leon felt a familiar rage build up, ready to explode on whoever it was that had dared hurt his friend. Not even noticing Echi jump off him, Leon angrily growled, walking up to the man who was arguing with a clerk about his luggage. Leon tried to contain himself, as he tapped the man on the back, Leons fist balled and shaking in rage as he tried to continue breathing normally. The man turned around, glaring at Leon. "What the HELL do you want kid?" Leon almost lost it there, but barely managed to contain his anger, his teeth grinding. "You knocked over one of my friends and she needs help. please assist her." The man just scoffed and turned back around, continuing his argument with the clerk, This, of course, was the last straw for Leon. Leon slammed his fist into the mans back and sent him toppling into his luggage cart, and before the man could react, Leon kicked the cart in a way so it went zooming down the street, eventually beyond sight. The clerk dropped his pen, looking amazed at Leon, as the white haired boy swiftly turned back to Flora, feeling considerably better, and knelt beside her, seeing Echi on her. "Is Cadenza gonna be ok?" Leon asked the small picori.
Leon heard the small girls voice of assurance, He turned and saw the man handing him his sword. Leon cautiously grasped the handle, spinning it and sliding it into its sheath with a soft -Clink-. He stood up from the book wielding girl and tried to stand his tallest up to the man. "I K-Know you probably m-mean well. b-but if you get lost in the forest you will turn into a stalfos, so you should probably l-leave." Leon did his best to hide his fear, to push it back to small corner of his mind, but this man was so big and his sword... it seemed to radiate power. This wasnt someone Leon could fight yet.
Leon looked up as Echi spoke to him. A girl looking for him? Who would be- He turned, seeing the familiar book carrying girl sprawled on the ground. "Flora are you okay?" He rushed to the young Kokiris side, checking for bruises, "Hey? Flora?"
Leon heard the girl start crying and he suddenly forgot about the black cloaked man. Leon raced across the dirt, almost tripping over the chicken. "A-Are you hurt?! W-Whats wrong? I can help!" Leon was afraid he was about to lose a possible friend, and since he had no friends, that would be a loss he couldnt take. He got real close to the girl and fretted over her, checking for wounds, or scratches.
