WORLD EVENT: Rescue the Deku King! {q.}

    

    Alright, everybody's third favorite Dungeon Master, Jaws, is here to lay down some rules. I'd first like to commend all of you for taking on a world event. Before we begin your adventure, I'd like to explain how this thread shall work. There is no posting order, but everyone must post once and only once for every round. Each round is the everything that happens from one of my posts to the next. It would be ideal to get at least two posts a day in this thread, but I understand everyone has their own availability and lives. Do try to be active, though, so you may retain your position in the quest.

    If your HP is depleted at any point at this thread, with no hope of revival, you will be rendered unconscious for the rest of the thread and be taken to Snowhead to recover. You shall suffer from a hex that exists for a finite amount of time in your next thread.
   
    Everyone shall be rewarded merely for just participating in the thread, those who make it to the end shall be rewarded with glory and riches beyond previously imagined.

    Finally, teamwork is important, the better everyone works together, the more efficient you shall be as adventurers. However, they may be some secrets to discover alone, that cannot be found with others. You'll be given many open ended choices to make, this adventure could be very narrow and linear, or you could carve your own path. The choice is yours.

    It was a swamp ravaged by poison. At least the poison would have made the pain go faster, and the death come quickly. The harsh winter would slow the pain and prolong the suffering. While chronicles of a poison's murder would take a few pages, winter's coming is a story that that takes five books to tell. Goddess only knows how long the suffering actually takes.

    At least the winter was beautiful. The swamp was once a terrifying bog. Yet now, covered in snow, it became a beautiful winter wonderland. It was a beautiful sight to see, the snow appeared so gently upon the vicious swamp, making the horrors.

    A beautiful landscape with no signs of aggression. this might've just been the most peaceful region of Termina. There was a reason, though. There was no life here. Lush tropical plant life does not survive in freezing winter. These included the sentient plant people, Deku. Those who weren't submerged or whisked away to safety in the underbelly of the Deku Palace, where frozen solid and sapless. The tiny Deku corpses would be frozen and covered with snow, appearing as adorable little snowman.

    The swamp was frozen, tranquil, and lifeless to the naked eye. The once lush plant life was covered with soft snow. Adventures looking for the Deku King would need to traverse through the snowy fields and find the Deku Palace. Watch your step.

Her steps were rushing on the ground, as the blonde hair waved in the light. Letting out a happy hum, the girl jumped into the air, and twirled, feeling quite happy. She was in fact, aiming to take the skies perhaps! The blonde just felt like some sort of energy had taken hold of her, as she let out a giant grin. Other people were supposed to come with her, and well she wanted to meet them, and give them all friendship grass! With a hum, she pulled off a few dance steps, as she was walking down the road towards the swamp. Everything was so quiet, as the snow covered even the monsters! That was soo weird for the blonde Leonhardt to be seeing! But she didn't mind, because it would definitely be interesting, as she grinned. Her blue eyes winked in a sparkling tone, as she tapped her feet, waiting at the area to meet for a few minutes. But she was really, really early.. but like a good hour and a half! Kyah! She had snuck out on Ikari, that had even come with her, whilst he was asleep; she had wanted a bit of ti me out in the beautiful winter place before they had to do something stressing or whatever. Adjusting the scarf, and the black coat she wore, the girl blew air into her hands. Her breath was really warm, compared to the chilly air, but she just let out a giggle. This was half of the fun! But she had a feeling that she had to stay pretty mobile; so despite wearing a winter coat, she wore stocking, and thigh high socks with a skirt that reached to her knees. Well actually, there were like three pairs of stocking there. How? Don't ask. It just was. The girl let out a hum, as she bounced, wearing almost knee high boots, the colors being black and some white and yellow too. She just seemed so happy, as she waited - bah! She was waiting too long! Not that Ivy was impatient; it's just that she wanted to get going, so she decided to take a peek at the swamp that was their goal to search! She probably could.. OOOH! SHE COULD DO THAT! The girl bounced ahead, and looked around; the first thing she saw was the most adorable cutest snowman that she had ever looked at! The girl squealed, and ran towards said snowman, and hugged it, taking it out by the roots from the ground. She squealed and hugged it, and even rolled around in the snow with it, staying on what she knew was land for sure. She was giggling a lot too, as she was nuzzling the statue; but of course, she was a bit stupid. So she accidentally threw it; and it sailed across the water, hearing a crack noise. ''WAAAAH SNOWMAN NO!'' she cried out, letting out soft sobs, before her attention was taken away by something else. She could poke the water! Or where water SHOULD be, maybe, there was a map right? Taking out a deku stick, the girl began to poke at the water, letting out soft giggles. This series of event took up the entire time she had been early.. people should be arriving soon. That boy's got a smile that could melt a thousand hearts

Luke was walking over to the meeting point in which he'd promised to help find the Deku King that was in danger! Which to be quite honest Luke was surprised to hear. He thought the tree people where strong, but.. maybe not? Maybe little trees where less strong then the big ones. How did someone just pick up a tree person? They where big right? Whatever it was he wasn't sure how to react to the thought someone could kidnap a tree. 

Finally coming up upon a girl, he noticed she was hugging a snow man. Now that was just silly, hugging a snow man? Nah, she was doing it all wrong, but as soon as he was going to call her out on it she had tossed it away and yelled. "Oh no! Poor snow man!" Luke shouted and ran after the snow man, just to have the water crack from under him, and fall into the water and scream as the poisend water burnt his skin, and he quickly pulled himself out and looked at the water.

"Ow, that water hurts." He commented pointing at it and looking at the girl.

FOREVER HERES TO WHAT MAKES EVERYDAY WORTH IT

"Brrrr, why is it so cold here? I was told the temperatures were nice in Termina this time of year..." Ulrich hiked through the snow-covered swamp. He glanced around at all of the winter-decorated landmarks he was told to find. The folks in Clocktown did their best to give him detailed directions to the Deku's palace. They even told him some of the weird weather that was going on that might get in the way. Still, none of the directions made sense when covered in a foot of snow or three inches of ice. He wandered through the winter wonderland oblivious to where anything was. It wasn't until he heard the sounds of yelling that he had an idea of where to go. He jogged through the thick snow until he found two others sitting in the snow. One guy and one girl. The guy looked a little injured while the girl was poking the water. How odd... He approached the two and looked them over. He then looked up at the ice-covered swamp. He could see a large hole in the ice. Large enough for the guy to fall into. He appeared to be damp though he could have gotten that from the snow. Ulrich adjusted his scarf as he looked around. "Thin ice is dangerous! Why isn't there a sign up that warns people about that? It's like their asking for someone to get hurt!" | made by prism of btn and ls~
