Vera stood in Hyrule field, her long blue locks tied up into a pony tail so she wouldn't embarrassingly trip on herself. She was waiting for her two companions that were supposed to help her. Luckily, both she had at least been introduced to and she hopefully would be a bit more comfortable. She stood waiting, with her staff in hand that reached up to her head from the ground. She hoped she wouldn't need to use it with two males with her, but you never know.
She had spent all day mentally preparing herself for social interaction but still it was terrifying for her. Especially with one of them being part of the famous Zora band.. that she was secretly a closest fan girl for. She was hoping that it wouldn't effect the fact that she had a mission and needed to keep it in mind over everything else. And, well, she had already seen and talked to him a few times anyway, so she should be able to do this.. right?
Kiru yawned sleepily as we walked up to Vera. His normal blue jacket was oddly replaced with one that was simply a reversed color version. He had gotten there so quickly because he had taken to sleeping in a tree close to the Domain's entrance, as he didn't want to disturb the peaceful Zoras. He smiled and waved at Vera, happy to be doing something constructive with his time, and pretty happy to be hanging out with the princess. "Hey Vera! Where were these bandit's heading? Also, do you know how well they are armed?"
Kiru wondered who else would be coming with them? As usual, Kiru felt his normal unease with being with a stranger, but if Vera trusted them, why shouldn't he?

Ihvent barely had a care in the world, strutting toward his desired location like he owned the place. In truth, he was just riding high on his "tour"; Because so far, things had been pretty swell since he came to Hyrule. Yeah, maybe it wasn't "home-sweet-home", but he hardly missed the Great Bay. Yeah, he needed to go back at some point out of obligation to the band, but nobody ever said he couldn't go on his own little journey from time to time. And Hyrule itself was pretty cool; The Zora in Zora's Domain had received him pretty well, and seemed to adore the Indigo-go's as much as the ones in Termina did. And all the cute babes were definitely a plus.
Which is what brought him here.
Ihvent had met the Princess of Zora's domain shortly after arriving, and she definitely fit in the "cute babe" category. She had been a little awkward in conversation, true, but even that had been pretty adorable. So when this particular princess asked for help going and recovering some rupees, Ihvent found his convenient excuse to spend some time with her. Besides, it's not like a few bandits would be hard to deal with; The Great Bay had to put up with pirates almost daily, so this should be childs play.
"Oi, Vera~!"
He waved as he came within ear shot of the princess. He briefly glanced at the tiny pink humanoid next to her, realizing a human was there as well. Probably the third person that was coming along whom Vera had mentioned. If she had mentioned his name, Ihvent certainly didn't remember it. Probably some silly human name anyway; They were so fond of dull sounding names. He sized him up and dismissed him almost instantly. The lad seemed smaller than Vera, and quite a bit younger. Silly kids, he didn't mean "child's play" literally; Did he think this was some sort of game? Bandits would probably butcher him before he could even whimper at them.
Vera noticed as the human child that had helped her before came along. She looked at him for a bit and then back down at her feet, she took a deep breath and mentally prepared herself for what was coming. "U-Uh they were heading t-toward the uh... center of the field." she commented to him, and then another voice came into her hearing and her heart almost skipped a beat. She knew that she would be seeing him again, still she couldn't help but be a bit of a fan girl and get excited when she saw him.
She turned and shyly waved at him. "Oh.. hi Ihvent." She spoke, not to loudly. He seemed laid back and almost glad to see her, which made her really happy but a bit more nervous now that she had to make this a good time for everyone. She looked at Kiru, and after he had spoken she took a moment to remember that the child was there. Oh.. uh.. his name. "Oh it's uh.. Kir..u?" She said doubtfully, sometimes human names were hard to remember. "He helped me get home once." She commented, with a nod.
Kiru gave a sharp glare at the word Munchkin. The dark-haired boy sighed and turned back to Vera. He was a little upset she barely remembered his name, but he wouldn't let it show. He wondered if this other zora even knew how to fight? The young swordsmen didn't want to have to protect him.
There was no sense wasting time on these thoughts however, as there were bandits to catch. "Well if everyone is here, lets get going then."
Not that he really disliked the kid- Not personally, anyway- but he just couldn't see any upsides to being there. So he decided to just focus on the positives: Or positive, in this case. At least Vera was here, and just as adorable as ever.
"Oh? And what was a pretty young girl like yourself doing out away from home alone?"
He tried his best not to think about the young tag along, but couldn't help but internally groan at his impatience. God, the kid probably thought he was a hero or a mercenary or something. He couldn't have been over, what, 13? 14, maybe? He should be running as far as possible in the opposite direction from bandits and letting people who knew how to handle themselves deal with this. Alas, he was Vera's friend, so Ihvent would just have to put up with him. Maybe there was an upside to this: The kid might be a useful distraction. Or even a decent pincushion. No, no, he couldn't let the kid get killed. Vera didn't need to see that.
"Hold your horses there, cowboy. No use in rushing off: They probably have a camp around here anyway, so they're not going anywhere."
He shrugged nonchalantly as he spoke, though he did start moving at a leisurely pace in the indicated direction. No use rushing things, they'd just tire themselves out and be easy, or easier, prey for the thugs. Not to mention he wanted this venture to take more than five minutes. After all, Vera probably had to go back to doing princess-y things after, or whatever royalty did.
Vera looked at the two nervously, knowing that Ihvent would probably find Kiru a little annoying and Vera could understand having a little kid around be annoying. Still she hoped he could tolerate the kid for a little. She looked at him and blushed slightly after he called her pretty. "I-It wasn't far, I had business in Kakriko..." she couldn't believe the bassist of the Indigo-gos had called her pretty! Her heart fluttered a little bit, she was so in her dream land that she haden't noticed Ihvent start walking to the direction she pointed.
"O-Oh! Y-Yes!" She said, walking next to him, and looking. "Good point... yeah we better go look and see if we can find their camp or something." She smiled nodding, agreeing with Ihvent. She was a little star-struck, but that's okay. It was like a girl meeting her celebrity crush, except better because they thought she was pretty!
Kiru rolled his eyes. What could possibly be so cool about this guy? He now just wanted to get this over with, and let the two do whatever they were going to do, it wasn't his problem was it? He just wanted to find these bandits, beat them up, and be done with it.
[Slight God-Moddin', but if you have a problem with it send me a PM and we'll talk about it.]
Well at least Kyroo- [Or was it Keeru? Whatever, Human names were weird.] had fallen back into step with them. The death of a youngin was not something Ihvent particularly cared to have on his conscience, even if it was a Human with an odd sounding name. Not to mention it'd bum Vera out. And then it'd totally be his problem. Talk about a Buzzkill~.
"Exactly, Vera! We should find them in ~no time~."
Dear gods it was like she was trying to win a competition on being adorable. He was used to fans being nervous around him, got it alot, but hadn't quite expected the princess of all the Zora in Hyrule to be the same. Not that he was complaining; "Cute" didn't do her justice. There should be a word for things that were cuter than cute. Maybe cudorable. Or adorute.
... Well, he'd think on it.
For now they had some pretty stupid bandits to catch. Seriously, who steals from Zora right in their front yard? Not to mention they were on a field. Having a camp out here was like saying, "hey, come raid us!" With all the Moblins and Bulblins that ran around Hyrule, it was pretty dangerous. Convenient, but dangerous. Silly bandits and their confidence. It would probably get them all killed- Especially if they weren't inclined to give back whatever they stole from Vera. Ihvent was quite intent on making sure of that.
The path they were on steered them to the top of a hill, at the height of which Ihvent motioned for them to stop. He sniffed, once, twice, grin dissapearing from his face for a moment. Smelled like stuff burnin'. A quick glance showed tiny trails of smoke rising into the air from the other side of a nearby hill. A very nearby hill. Shitnuggets. Ihvent turned to Vera and Kiru, beaming a grin at them.
"You two stay here for a minute, kay? Don't have too much fun without me!"
He turned away and paced down the hill, hopefully leaving them there. Not that he wanted to leave Vera back there with just Keeru to guard her, but considering the other option was take them into what was probably a camp infested with bandits, he'd take leaving them behind for a bit. At least he wouldn't be worried about their lives then.
He slung his guitar around so it was hanging from a loose strap at it's side; Not quite in his hands yet but close enough that he could draw it. He fully planned to strum these losers to death if they gave him any trouble, but first he had to confirm that they were in fact the bandit losers he was looking for.
He walked the bend around the hill and stopped dead in his tracks. And damnit, he was this close to laughing.
They were dead.
Allllll of them.
The Smoke trails weren't campfires; They were what was left of their tents burning to the ground. Bandits lay strewn pretty much everywhere around the site, obviously having died fighting something or another. He knew he should have been disgusted or morose about it, but literally not 5 minutes ago he'd just had the thought of how stupid having a camp in the middle of a field was. Aaaaand here he was, proven correct by some fluke of cosmic coincidence. It was pretty fuckin' funny. Seriously; Bandits getting raided by monsters? Talk about Karma, sheesh!
"Oiiiiiiiiiiii! S'all clear over here!"
He yelled over the hill at them.
Wait, Bodies.
"...Ish. What did the stolen goods look like again? Maybe I should just bring it back over to you..."
