Fingers tapped against a stone, as Nero hummed to himself. He'd already been here for fifteen whole seconds. Did these adventurers think he had nothing but free time to kill? Being the great fairy was a busy job, and Nero specifically had a lot of stuff to do. Or at least, stuff he would rather be doing than waiting around for a bunch of dolts who couldn't be bothered to show up fifteen minutes before they were told to.
Nero rolled his eyes, and decided that enough was enough. Thirty Seconds? Preposterous. He snapped his fingers, a small wooden sign post popping out of the ground in front of the large cavern he sat before. Initially blanked, he waved his hand briefly as black ink seemed to scrawl across the wood, filling the sign with words and shapes to make a coherent message. That should be enough for them to figure it out. He nodded to himself, before snapping again, disappearing into thin air~.
ATTENTION PARTY OF HEROES: In front of you is Dodongo Cavern, which you should be here for. If you're not, you're lost and probably won't make it back down the mountain. Tough Break.
For those who ARE supposed to be here, go inside, kill all the Dodongo's you see, and come back out. And if you find a jeweled, glowing red stone, hang onto it. It's valuable~.
Let's make the most of the night, like we're gonna die young
Scarlett hopped in excitement. Another exciting adventure for her! She knew that she would have to go back up to Skyloft soon, and one last mission would be good for her. She walked up to the cave she was supposed to go to, looking for the fairy, but all that was there was a sign. Oh, man oh well! She didn't need to meet the great fairy. She stood firm. "That's okay Nero, I'll take charge of the group!" Scarlett said in excitement she smiled and stood, ready for everyone to come up and meet her.

Drystan finishes the hike up the mountain, the maw of the Dodongo Cavern staring back at him. He was in Goron territory, and despite the alliance between the two races, it wasn't every day that humans could just walk on in uninvited. Then again, he wasn't uninvited...there were apparently reports of complaints caused by the foul beasts living in the cave. Usually, the Gorons took care to cull the dodongo population down to reasonable levels, but they must have gotten out of hand.
"Hmph. Laziness." Drystan mutters, quick to assume the worst.
In front of it, was a sign, and a rather unusual looking girl. Walking up to the sign, he takes a look, and shakes his head. "Can't even come to greet the people he dragged for miles. Figures." Turning to look at the younger girl, he raises an eyebrow. "I assume that you're here to help with the assignment?" His words were even, but he made no attempt to keep the condescension out of his voice. He wasn't confident that her, or any of the other mercenaries would be up to the job. It was easier that way, for when they'd inevitably disappoint. It was then that he managed to piece together what her uniform was.
"...You're a Skyloft Knight, aren't you? I apologize." Drystan grins slightly. "I can't wait to see how well you do. I've never seen one in action...I just hope you're competent without your loftwing's help."
"Someone sure doesn't sugar coat them." Allevy said, overhearing the conversation as he entered the cave. Well, the idea of having a funnily dressed overly energetic girl lead them wasn't a very appealing idea to Allevy either, but he wouldn't bother arguing.
Hiking up the mountain had taken him a pretty good deal of time, though he was at least somewhat familiar with the area since he had been sent there on a job before. He wasn't a fan of the place though since the mountainous terrain was not only fatiguing but littered with annoying monsters on the way. Allevy glanced the sign over, getting the gist of the mission. Kill annoying exploding lizard things that was a threat to the locals. Fair enough. Also something about a shining red stone that was valuable. That, was Allevy's real reason for being here. Seeing it in person would determine if he wanted to sell it or keep it for himself, but needless to say, treasure was always a pretty tempting draw for him. He would of course, fulfill the mission properly as well though.
"One more person right? Let's get the show on the road once they show up. I've got a funny feeling about this job, and I wanna find out what it is." Allevy wasn't lying about his feelings, though he didn't bother telling the full details. It was an odd mission, typically Allevy was the one to go and find odd jobs to do and usually with people he was unfamiliar with. This time though, he was directly sent a job, and he wanted to know what was going on and why.
"What in the hell am I doing here? I am never doing public things like this… I guess since she signed me up for the mission I have to go…” That was the dilemma in the head of Kaito currently as he began to pace in his own room for a few moments getting clothes and his weapons together as he began to wonder what he would do. He had many options to go with, he just could show up, or he could wait for them, but it looked like he was the one that was running late currently and it was okay that he was, because he was well known for this kind of shit, being a bit late, because of his past encounters.
The music playing in his ears was a tune of a rock guitar, drums, bass and a singer switching from singing and screaming sounds. It was a song about the myriads of truths, but there was only one Hybrid Truth. It was a strange song, but he liked it never the less as he began to arrive at the destination needed wearing a red Jacket that looked like a jersey, a black teeshirt, blue jeans, and shoes. His bangs were slightly covering his eyes as his emotionless expression was very much present, but he just seemed to lean against the nearest tree and wall not really putting much into saying anything just nodding and drawing his weapon out of his jacket quietly and placing it against his forehead in thought and prayer.
He wasn’t speaking out loud, but there was definite movement from his lips that seemed to be a prayer of sorts as the ornate gun shined a bit brightly It was strange that a guy like him would have a weapon like this. It was not something out of the ordinary that was for sure. It was not every day you would see a guy with a handgun like that. He really did wonder if she’d show up, well there was so far someone from the royal house, and a couple other mooks, one person looked like she had a skywing, which just said to him a flying deathtrap waiting for him, and he had no want of that.
So what was the plan now? Wait for the person that told him to come. Why was he here, he kept thinking to himself, there was millions of more logical things to do than just simply wait in this spot, and then well realizing it didn’t have a clip in it for logical reasons, he simply popped the clip in making a click noise as it would normally as he’d then place his gun back and simply waited for their last member to come. It was obvious to Kaito that this wasn’t going to be some easy mission for him, this was going to be a long and a doozy of a mission, and he was ready for it, just not really in his head yet.
It just felt rushed to him, then again he was a Hikomori, and it made sense that he wouldn’t be ready for missions like this unless he was forcefully dragged, but her incessant pestering, which was quite adorable for him, but he didn’t really wanna go, but he was here so he had to go.

It was weird, because, Kyire never got to go outside. Ever. She had a pen pal though; his name was Kaito, and she had signed him up to come meet her, whilst she could go outside! Of course, she was following Drystan on some quest, and she wanted her pen pal to come with her; that was normal right? Right! So she had packed up a bunch of stuff; her little bag behind her was full of foods and stuff, just in case they got lost! And it could hold stuff like items and whatever if people needed a place to store them. The most important thing however, was that cloak of hers, that she absolutely needed. After all, if she didn't have it, there would be big problems trying to climb up the mountain!
Her cloak was extremely heavy looking; in fact, it looked like someone of her frame had no chance to carry it. It was made of thick materials, and covered her entire body. The hood was long and pronounced, made to hide her face from the light, but still allow her to see. It had some beautiful rose like designs on the bottom, and strange other designs on the cloak itself; she also had red strings, and a beautiful rose adorning this cloak. It was a work of art, as the girl just kept running up the mountain, away from the enemies that were sure to spawn near her. But she didn't mind it very much!
That's because she would get to see her pen pal! She was sure he was a sweet person, as she let out an excited squeak to herself. The girl was really excited to see him! With her small frame of 4'5, it was pretty much a large amount of stamina or endurance, as she made it up to the mountain. Everyone would just see her cloak, and how small she was, as she was softly moving side to side. She felt.. weird now, as she was very quiet; looking around, she noticed how.. tall everyone was! They were all at least a foot taller then she was, making the small girl almost squirm in shyness. But she saw only one person that she knew for sure.
The small cloaked girl immediately traveled to the male's side, sicking really close to Drystan. Under her cloak, she put on some gloves that she had kept in a pocket, and then softly tugged at him. It was her way of saying she was there, as she looked at everyone else, feeling.. so short. One of them was her pen pal! So she looked at all of them; the girl that, she was sure that wasn't her pen pal, seemed pretty okay. She could shakily make out the words on the sign, but her reading wasn't that strong; she often got Drystan to read things for her.. and write some too. That's because her education was severely lacking, to the point that some might call her retarded.
It's not that it was her fault though. There were two other males; one that seemed a bit awkward and one that seemed to have been.. scolding Drystan? She didn't know, and she wasn't sure, as she didn't want to talk. Tugging at Drystan's sleeve, she headed towards the dungeon; where it would be dark and have no more sunlight.. but she couldn't do it alone, as she stopped, looking back at the awkward looking boy. Maybe that was Kaito.. she wasn't sure, as she hurried into the entrance, away from the sunlight. Of course.. Kyire had forgotten, or not even learned one very important lesson as an adventurer. And that was never enter a dungeon room alone, as she just sped into the first room, unaware of what may happen..
Such as waiting monsters.

Let's make the most of the night, like we're gonna die young
Scarlett turned and hopped up a little as people had started lining up. She was super excited! She placed her hands on her hips as everyone came up. "I know our leader isn't here, but we still have a job to do so don't let this bring you down okay guys?" she said with a nod and looking into the cave, wondering if they wanted to talk more. Well, Scarlett was more of a less talk, more play kinda gal and thus looked to everyone.
"Come on, no need to slow things down~" She commented, before running into the cave, and letting the darkness take over her. Up until she emerged in the other side and felt the heat of the lava as it lit up the room. She saw the bats flapping, and hid for a moment, and bit her lip looking at them all, before jumping out and silently attacking each one, and killing them off, smiling happily and jumped up and down. That was quick!
"See guys? This wont be very hard!" She shouted, before running out into the next room. When she entered she looked and saw the ropes "Ropes? Why does it always have to be ropes?" she whined, as she didn't appreciate the snake-like creatures very much.
Used her technique to kill off every single keese in this room
Drystan crosses his arms as the mercenary criticizes him. "Hmph. I don't believe I asked your opinion on this, did I? Though, perhaps I should reserve my judgment on the issue. You should have the opportunity to prove yourself above the common rabble. Just try not to get in my way."
With that said, he walks forward towards the cavern....only to see Kyire run headlong into it. "Kyire, get back here this instant!" He was already nervous about taking her so far away from the manor...but if she was going to act like this, then he would need to keep a very close eye on her. Protecting her was his duty...it was the only thing that made him worth any more than the dirt he and his father tilled.
When he entered the cavern, he saw the Skyloft knight attack the beasts, but her wild strike left the ropes hurt, but alive. "You're not exactly thorough, are you? It figures, I suppose..." With that, he dives through the enemies to reach Kyire's position, then strikes at the snake closest to Kyire, finishing it off. "Be more careful. You might have been hurt." Drystan admonishes, turning to face the enemies with Kyire at his back.

"Heh. No need to get huffy, that was a complime- Gah. He ain't even listening." Allevy cut himself off as he saw the last two members show up. Wait, two? Did another person join at the last second? The first one was a rather aloof looking guy who looked a little younger than Allevy, but he couldn't quite be sure of his age since he gave off a less than childish vibe. The second one... Well, he couldn't make out much of this last group member. She (or at least Allevy thought it was a she) was so heavily clothed that he couldn't make out much of her features except that she was exceedingly short. Was it a child or something? He didn't have much more time to wonder about it as she ran off ahead of the group, prompting the other Knight or whatever he was to follow immediately.
"Well well. Looks like he ain't like that to everyone at least." Allevy shrugged as he followed the group into the cave. A swarm of smallfry monsters greeted them, though a good portion was promptly killed by the self proclaimed leader. "Oh, not bad lady!" Allevy drew a small orb from his pocket as he watched the knight attack one of the Ropes, damaging one but not killing it.
"You guys might wanna avoid this properly!" Allevy warned as he light the bomb and tossed it at the Ropes. The bomb soon exploded, damaging two of the Ropes and killing the one Drystan had damaged.

"’In my World there’s no need for battle, there’s no need for me to search for a reason to come. It’s just simply is. There’s no need for me to try to misunderstand people, it’s what happens. Although in my world I’m not sure what I can do now.’ I just hope I can do this and be strong for the people leaning on me was the thoughts of Kaito while he was deciding on what his plan was so far. There was nothing that Kaito couldn’t do, well there was actually plenty that Kaito couldn’t do currently, but no one really pointed that out. As they were talking and walking into the chaos that was known as Dodango’s Cavern it was apparent there was problems.
The first was that there were keese, which were a type of Bat, well from their shape and flight pattern it could fathomed that it was one of those things. There was also rope like things on the ground as well, but what could he do for now? Well looked like that the crazy ass woman had did her job and killed a bunch of the keese that were around in one simple fell swoop and the others had contributed, and Kaito was going to do his due diligence on this and help to contribute his skills into the battle hand, which was taking these things out. Kaito simply pointed his weapon and shot out a bullet volley that would take the remaining life of the Rope B.
This would simply allow Kyire to have Rope C to herself, because Kaito had to reload, since he shot his bullets out to ensure that it would die. As the weapon shined from the glowing lights and ambience in the area it was apparent from Kaito’s cold eyes that he was serious on doing his job and kicking ass, but there was a problem with plan, what was the self-titled leader going to do now? What was the plan now that they had cleared the room basically, leaving the girl to do her job, and everyone would get their pay so to speak. After waiting for her to do her thing, his weapon was loaded once again as the shiny texture reflected light.
A quiet sigh passed the lips of Kaito as he was definitely in thought about what he could do, but he knew that if he didn’t do anything that everything would fall apart simply, because of the fact they needed to work as a team. He was ready to go. ”What are we doing next leader?” It was shot at the blonde bombshell that seemed to like to explode out in terms of her abilities. Kaito had other thoughts, but those would remain to be quieted by his logic of knowing that if he started something with her, she’d end up having more and more issues with him, so he’d keep quiet from his question and see what Kyire could do currently with her skills.
He was worried about how well she could really handle this type of strenuous excursion.

Let's make the most of the night, like we're gonna die young
Scarlett clapped as everyone got rid of the ugly snake-like things. "Guys! I'm super proud of you all!" She shouted happily There was one left, but she was sure that it wouldn't be a big deal. So she simply ran pas it. "We don't need to kill EVERY enemy, come on guys! Let's keep moving!" She shouted, and ran past them all, into the next room.
This room was pretty empty, but it was also full of lava, luckily there where rocky platforms that everyone could easily jump over. Jumping on the first one, Scarlett rushed through. Now, if you weren't Scarlett you'd notice that each of the five plat forms would have a tally mark on it. If someone was smart they would probably want to remember what was on this pattern HINT HINT. Here's a picture of it, except in reality it wouldn't be shitly drawn in paint.
But Scarlett didn't even notice and went along on her merry way into the next room, that had two laser heads she looked at them, and quickly used her spell, to double her damage. She took her sword and quickly attacked both of the laser heads, and they where killed off just like that. Landing with her heels clicking against the thing she had to admit the spell made her feel powerful. She turned and smiled at everyone and gave them a thumbs up. Before once again running forward into the next room.
The next room, had five switches in it, but more important to Scarlett there was a rope and two fire keese she fell back, and decided to let the other's have some action time. She smiled and clapped "Come on guys! We can do this! Look the door to the final room is right there!" She commented, pointing at the large door that was tightly locked. Still, while she was distracted a fire keese wnt in and hit her, and she pulled away. "OW!"
Used her spell as one action, and then used her frenzy skill to kill all the party members. Took damage from a fire keese.

As Scarlett directed them out of the room, Drystan shakes his head in frustration. Moving to the back of the group, he shores up the rear guard, making sure the remaining animals didn't try any funny business while they were moving. He had an obligation to keep Kyire safe, no matter what their "leader" said, and if he was going to risk that just because she felt they weren't moving fast enough, she had another thing coming. He wasn't going to go back to living in the trash just because some air-headed Skyloftian felt impatient. Needless to say, she was rapidly losing any respect she might have gained from her status as a knight, and the only thing that held his tongue on the matter was that she was doing a remarkable job carrying her own weight in regards to killing the beasts.
As they moved on, he noticed the precarious path they were required to take over molten rock. Sighing, he turns back to Kyire, and by extension, the rest of the party. "We don't know how sturdy these are. Only one person crosses at a time, to make sure no one is caught without a space to leap to safety. People caught on the wrong side will have to find another way out."
To make his pronouncement less harsh, he immediately begins traveling over. No one could blame him for enforcing a harsh punishment on a mistake if he was to be one of the people caught under his weight...or maybe they could. Drystan honestly didn't care. The marks on the stone intrigued him, but all that mattered to him was that Scarlett had made it across safely, and they should be able to as well. Still...it might bear significance later, and someone here had to be the responsible one, since their illustrious leader seemed fit to abandon that obligation of her role.
As he did, though, he saw her dispatch the two creatures that may have proved to be problematic, and he shrugs. If she needed him to fill in the role as leader, at least she was proving an adequate wrecking ball towards the impediments to the task. It was an arrangement he could be satisfied with, he supposed. So long as Kyire was safe, he would not question it.
"My my..." Allevy shook his head as his fellow team mates... Or whatever you could call them ran off. They didn't seem much like a team, more so a group of random people who happened to be going through the cavern at the same time. Oh well, the over eagerness of the "Leader" was proving to be effective at wiping monsters out at least. Unlike the leader and whoever sir uptight was though, Allevy decided to hang back, staring at the markings on the platforms for a few moments.
"One of these things eh?" Allevy made a mental map of the platforms and the markings that he could see, though he couldn't get a clear look at all of the markings from his angle. Allevy pulled out his Hookshot, pointing it above him over the entrance to the room at the ceiling before firing. The sharp head of the hookshot embedded itself into the bedrock before reeling Allevy over, allowing him to hang off the ceiling to get an overhead view of the platforms. After completing his mental map, gave the hookshot handle a firm tug, pulling it out of the walls and allowing himself to freefall back to the floor. Upon impact, he allowed his knees to give out and fell backwards harmlessly onto his rump before getting back up quickly. He then followed the rest of the group along to the next room.
Let's make the most of the night, like we're gonna die young
Scarlett jumped back glaring at the keese that had hurt her, shaking her hand. Puffing out her cheeks a little she brought out her sword and began swinging at the keese, and hit it once, and it was instatly killed. Looking away she had to go back and focus on the pain in her hand. she hated it when she got distracted and ended up screwing up a bit.
Looking back at the others, she wondered if they where to. But it seemed the purple haired one was staying back. She hoped that he was okay! Still, wasn't worth looking back on. gripping her sword she looked at the others in hopes that they knew what they where doing.
