Kairi fluttered around kakariko village. She wasn't really sure what she was doing here, then again she never really did anything that wasn't on impulse. Maybe it was her attraction to fire, or maybe it was just cause she never could get enough of this place but Kairi was fluttering about , trying to find something fun to do.
Taking her magic flower, she decided to go into her full form. Of course, this would hide her wings, making her look like a simple normal human. Honestly, Kairi wasn't beautiful or majestic like most fairies. But she was also young, and had still time to develop. But otherwise, Kairi didn't quite care about her appearance it just wasn't her forte.
Walking around, she felt the warm air against her skin. It was interesting that even though the cool airs of fall where coming, this area was still warm. One of the reasons it was her favorite. The cold was defiantly something that Kairi just couldn't stand. She'd probably be spending a lot more time here.
Also, she had to look for Rath. That was something she just needed to do. So Kairi decided to start there, and began looking for someone to ask if they'd seen him around.

Zeek's Stats: HP: MP:
Kakariko Village was Ezekial's destination today, well more so his employers. Sitting in the back of a wagon filled with goods the young man's body rocked around at every bump and pot hole on the uneven ground. It still beat walking but it was just a single cart so he didn't need to be out as a show of force. It was no secrete the world wasn't a safe place to travel easily, which was something good for Zeek. It wasn't that he took pleasure int he misfortune in others he wasn't the least bit sadistic but rather he almost always had a job if he looked hard enough and that meant rupees.
Watching from the open back of the horse drawn wagon he watched the scenery pass by and slowly shift to the village limits. Part of Zeek was thankful it was a quiet trip but part of him would of enjoyed a good fight. Regardless the job was just about done. Once they got through the gates all that was left was to settle up and get his payment. From there he would find another job and continue the cycle. Such was his life. Far more mundane majority of the time than most people thought.
A few more minutes later the wagon came to a gentle stop. This was Zeek's cue. Raising to his feet within the confines of the canvas covered wagon he placed his foot on the edge and proceeded walk off the cart landing with both his feet on firmly on the ground. There wasn't much in terms of sight to greet Zeek. Just the usual gate he had seen more than two dozen times over the past year. The usual sounds of Kakariko danced their way over in to Zeek's ear as he rounded the corner of the wagon and made his way towards the wagon driver. Zeek wondered how much his Hylian employer would try to stiff him on his payment as he neared the front. When he got there next to the driver was a small brown bag and Zeek was more the familiar with the objects that were stretching out the bag. That small bag was more than likely his payment. With out a word the employer of Ezekial picked up the bag by the small knot that kept the bag closed, moved his arm over to the side and let the bag drop. This wasn't an uncommon occurrence for Zeek to have with Hylians. A good portion of their entire race had some kind of superiority complex when it came to dealing with Humans but this wagon driver was desperate to get his goods here under guard.
Catching the falling payment in the palm of his hand Zeek brought the small bag closer to him as the driver started moving away. If he would of been stiffed a few rupees he would be infuriated. Thankfully everything checked out, for once after he examined the contents of the bag. Re-securing the knot on the bag Zeek dropped the bagged payment in to another pouch that occupied his left side which contained all his current funds. He would have plenty of time to sort it out later. Now if he was quick and lucky enough he could get find another caravan back to Lanayru province by night fall but the odds of that were slim. Along with that Kakariko typically offered a few odd end jobs running up Death Mountain trail that paid fairly well. Well Just have to see where this will take me...
Kairi walked inside of a building, it was the inn. She walked up to the clerk, and decided to ask them if they had seen Rath anywhere. Still, as she didn't get any leads, she began getting discouraged, and walked out to see someone standing there. Kairi ran over to them, her black hair bouncing with her. Not only was Kairi asking everyone she could for help, but this guy looked like a mercenary. Sometimes Kairi could be silly and dramatize people as being cooler then they are. Still, it was akways worth a shot.
Running up to the brown haired boy, she had to note how much taller he was then her. Still, even in her human form she was shorter then most, and it annoyed her a bit. She wanted to be a big strong great fairy not a tiny little girl. Still, at least it was better then her fairy form right? Sometimes she hated the fact that she was actually a fairy. Oh well! No time to dwell on that now. She was on a mission.
"Excuse me, I know this is really generic. But.. I'm looking for a bright red fairy that has blue wings. Have you seen anything like that before?" Kairi may not be the nicest person, but she needed something out of this so her voice was quiet and polite. She'd have to if she wanted something out of this right?

It was barely even a few minutes after Zeek got off the wagon before a quiet little voice spoke from behind him: "Excuse me, I know this is really generic. But.. I'm looking for a bright red fairy that has blue wings. Have you seen anything like that before?" Bright red fairy was about as generic as it could get. Turning around Zeek noticed a small girl who's age could not of been any older than twelve. She stood almost a good foot less than he did and had black hair with violate eyes, one trait that caught Zeek's eyes.
There was a odd balance between things that seemed out of place and things that made sense. She was a small girl asking about a very generic type fairy however she seemed to know this and admitted to it. On top of the eyes something was seeming off but Zeek had no real justification other than off basis hunch.
"You're gonna have to give me more information that that. I see a lot of things. You're gonna have to be more specific for me to be able to help you." Granted Zeek could easily count on both hands how many fairies he had met. There probably would not be much in terms of profit to be made off helping this little girl but Zeek would of had a hard time saying no. He could easily haggle most adults after the job was done, with in reason. He wasn't set on taking a poor families rupees if they had next to nothing to begin with. Half the time he found more during the job than what they were willing to pay anyway, but he was careful not to let that slip out before he was done. It would be impossible to make a living off of benevolence as nice as that would be.
Kairi didn't get a yes, as expected. But, on the brighter side though, she also didn't get a no. She looked at the man, trying to think of any more information she could give him. She sighed, really all she had was the name. "Well.." She desperately tried to think of something. Anything, really. But nothing more, still she guess that the whole story will be a start?
"Well.. I've been traveling for two years looking for my brother Rath? I honestly.. don't have a clue where he could have been taken. But he was taken by some sales man to be sold in a bottle." She commented, unsure if that would be any help at all. Still, the answer had gotten her hope.. it wasn't an automatic no.
"Please, even if you're not SURE it's him, anything will help..." She commented, hopeful and desperate all at the same time. Normally, Kairi was a lot stronger then this. But when it came to Rath.. she had a soft side. He was her brother after all.

Zeek knew he wasn't the first person she had asked but going off of how long it took her to think up of details he was probably one of the only few people that had an interest in hearing the rest, which honestly was not that all surprising to Zeek. Most people were too preoccupied with their own life to really lend a hand to anyone. Zeek's whole entire job just happened to be centered off making a living off that.
"Well.. I've been traveling for two years looking for my brother Rath? I honestly.. don't have a clue where he could have been taken. But he was tak. en by some sales man to be sold in a bottle." This provided Zeek with a lot more context to go off of but it still was not all that helpful for giving the young girl an answer.
"Please, even if you're not SURE it's him, anything will help..." The sound of desperation had Zeek back track a moment. She said that the fairy she was looking for was her brother? He could of swore that is exactly what she said. Last he remembered fairies typically stayed in their small form but this girl looked human.
"Hang on." He said holding his hand up with an obviously confused look on his face. "You said this fairy you are looking for is your brother?" Zeek was more than skeptical on about fairies being able to shift in to humans. Sure they had great magical power if nothing else but what fairies he met always were in that form of theirs? Could this little girl be pulling his leg? It certainly was a possibility. One he doubted, but still possible.
Kairi blushed, as he called her out on something that did make her look a little silly. Pulling out her flower she laughed to herself a little bit. "Y-Yeah.. I'm actually a fairy. This makes me larger." She commented. Hoping he'd believe her. She felt kinda stupid, knowing that she looked ridiculous at this point in time. Rubbing the back of her head, she felt awkward.
"Still.. have you hear anything about a lost fairy?" She asked, trying to keep the topic on track. She looked at her backpack. "Uh... let me see if I can find my drawing or something.." Kairi pulled off her back pack, opening it looking for her drawing that she had of Rath, made to help her find him.
Finding it, she pulled it out, and from the end of it a short tiny man would be hanging, after being shook around a lot. Kairi looked at him, and glared. "Get off the drawing Jack" she commented, shaking the paper, attempting to get him to fly off.

Up until a certain point, Jack had been sleeping away the time in Kairi's backpack. He absolutely hated when she went fairy form, because when he was on her person, he shrank right along with her - and he was already small enough even when she stood at a relatively normal height. So, he had been sleeping in the miniaturized backpack, oblivious even as the girl who owned it activated the flower item she so enjoyed using. Her growing suddenly from 3/4 of an inch tall to five feet tall still wasn't enough to wake the sleeping human, but it didn't take very much before his eyes would open. The dimly lit darkness of this little girl fairy's backpack was certainly enough to sleep by, but without any regard for his safety or comfort she had started running. And the result - for poor Jack - was chaos.
He was thrown against a large, glass cylinder - an empty bottle of some kind, which was a rude awakening. Each step she took shook the mobile, sealed-off world of fabric around him. His acorn brown eyes opened with a start, and he cursed once to himself. One hand came up to rub the back of his head where it had collided with the empty vial. He knew that his owner had probably just forgotten about him, but he wished she would try to pay some level of attention to things besides the stuff she impulsively decided to do on her own. He was even willing to help her find her brother, and she knew that - but either due to her age, her personality, or a mix thereof, she tended to forget just how small and fragile her attendant was. Jack sat up as the girl came to a stop, and he heard voices from the outside.
Oh, she's talking to someone...Jacobus thought to himself, wearily. His senses came back to him, and he tuned his ears in onto what was actually being said. One voice speaking was clearly male, while the other belonged to his younger, more energetic, and much bigger charge.
"Uh... let me see if I can find my drawing or something.."
...! Now's my chance! Jack thought to himself, as the world around him shifted once more. The sky split open as if of its own accord, but in reality it had been pulled back by the fairy's hand. He located the drawing of the girl's brother - as amateurish as it was - and moved to the sheet of paper. Of course, it was much larger than him, but that meant it was easy to grab onto and hitch a ride. He seized the end of it with both hands, just as it was being pulled beyond his reach. He held on tightly and was pulled into the light of day. Jack was glad to be out of the backpack, but he was not nearly so pleased at the sudden, rough treatment at Kairi's hand as she shook the sheet of paper. She ordered him to get off the paper, and he simply tightened his grip on the paper's edge.
"Come on!" He shouted, though a normal human would not have heard him yelling unless he was within a few feet of their head and ears. A fairy, however, could well be a different matter. "At least give me your hand, or something!" He insisted urgently, not wanting to be thrown to the ground by Kairi's relentless flapping of the page.

"Y-Yeah.. I'm actually a fairy. This makes me larger." Well that settled one of the questions Zeek had. The whole idea of there being a magic flower that allowed fairies in to normal sized beings didn't linger in Zeek's mind for a very long time. Magic was something quite wide spread in Hyrule, so the concept of such an item existing didn't boggle the Nomad's mind. Although he certainly would prefer to see it actually happen just to make sure but for now it was good enough.
"Still.. have you hear anything about a lost fairy?" The fairy-human said veering the conversation back to its original direction. "Uh... let me see if I can find my drawing or something.." It would be safe to say that the girl was more than prepared with available information on her brother if she had a drawing. Assuming the girl's artistic ability was at least decent it would give Zeek a better direction to point her, although he already had one in mind since almost any detail on a fairy was next to impossible to make out due to their light like aura. There was the chance that her drawing was also of what the boy in his humanoid form looked like, which in that case Zeek would be more helpful but it would be proven that the fairy was not alone in her search.
When she pulled out the parchment that Zeek assumed was the drawing she had made there was something small hanging off of it. It possessed strangely human like qualities and was clinging on to the drawing for dear life as the fairy swung the piece of paper around. "Get off the drawing Jack!" She demanded towards the smaller than pint sized human. The pleads of the Fairy's companion didn't make it to Zeek's ear but from what he could discern her companion was not fond of the treatment it was receiving. "I'm pretty sure they would be more accommodating if you weren't swinging them around." Zeek said interjecting but not physically intervening. The person that was hanging off the edge of the paper was certainly small enough to be the size of a Minish but it looked nothing like one. This piqued Zeek's curiosity even though there were only a few guesses as to how he/she got in to that mess: curse, bad potion, or back fired magic. If it wasn't any of those three it would be something new.
