She's cute but she's clumsy, she says that she loves me
Vera stood outside the whale, looking up at her big plump friend and placing a cold hand against his cold skin. She smiled at him, feeling silly that he had eaten something so important. I guess it was just like her to let something so silly happen though, she was trying hard not to talk down to herself when it was such a dumb thing. And the great fairy needed it! She was sure he was up to some great escapade. She hadn't asked any questions, just wanted to give it back, but the whale had taken it. She chuckled quietly to herself. "It's okay big guy, you'll feel better soon."
She spoke softly, she may be socially awkward, but hey, this guy had been around all her life. And he doesn't speak much, Vera feels more comfortable around people like that. She patted him once more before looking at the cave entrance where people would come in to help the poor thing. She knew that it would be any moment, and she'd have to compose herself. Good thing she had written down what she needed to say. She looked down at the paper in her hand, hoping that it would suffice.
Kiru finally wandered out of Zoras Domain, seeing the giant fish, and Vera. The blue-haired swordsman adjusted his coat and walked forward. He hadn't really paid attention to the details of what he was supposed to do, so all he really knew is it concerned this fish.
"So whats wrong with the fish Vera? Also, where is everyone else?" Kiru was not to pleased about having to work with other people. Any one of them could have caused this problem, and is simply here to finish the job.
Raeid would be one of the first, if not the first person to appear. This was simply because when she heard about Jabu-Jabu's illness and the urgency of the situation she couldn't just stand by and do nothing. With the help of her father and various other people whom worked at the clinic she was able to quickly complete everything she couldn't delegate in record time. That alone allowed her to set out almost as soon as she'd heard the news and was summoned to appear before the Zora Princess.
"Your Highness?", the traveling pharmacist called out.
When she noticed the figure standing next to Jabu Jabu she put on her best smile. With this she hoped to comfort the Zora. From what she'd seen from the various others she'd spoken with, they were all quite concerned for Jabu Jabu's health. She couldn't blame them. If Jabu-Jabu was comparable to Hyrule's king it'd be a tragedy if he were to die of a strange illness. That was why she brought her best and came with what she felt was the best. She'd studied heavily just for this occasion.
"Good afternoon, Princess Vera. I came as fast as I possibly could. Has his state worsened since your summons were sent?", her smile faded and her eyes filled with concern when she asked. With hope the whale was no worse than before.
After speaking Raeid noticed a blue haired boy already speaking with the princess. Rather informally as well...perhaps they knew each other?
Then again...Maybe not.
The physician was pretty sure the Zora would hardly tolerate their Lord Jabu-Jabu being called a mere fish. After all...Zora ate fish.
"Even further...", she murmured the first part to herself,""Child, I think you'd best be informed, a whale is a mammal not simply a fish. Even further you're before royalty. Show some respect."

This water was harshing his mellow. Nyles trudged through the shallow waters of the Zora's Domain. The trip here was a pain. Squids, chickens, raging currents. He was summoned to come help the Zora with their problem regarding Lord Jabu Jabu, but it felt like he was having to fight his way here. It was exhausting, but he was glad he didn't have to actually swim any. Walking in wet clothes is so annoying.
He splashed out of the cave behind the two other participants. He looked up at the blue haired boy, the blond girl, and the young zora. A sigh left his lips as he stomped up the steps and stood in front of the three and the whale. He quietly looked them over before...
He walked over to the edge of the platform where he removed his boots and socks. He turned the boots upside down to drain the built up water while squeezing his socks to release any loose fluids that have built up in them. He sat crouched by the edge of the platform for many seconds just trying his hardest to get his wet clothes dry. When satisfied with their progress, or noticing it wasn't helping anymore, he replaced the garb back onto his legs.
He now walked back before them. He lazily lifted to scratch the stubble on his chin as he examined the whale in front of him. The older man walked past the youngsters and placed a hand on the whale's front. He closed his eyes briefly before pulling his hand away.
You poor thing. You've eaten something that's not settling with you? He spoke with a sympathetic tone. His furrowed his brow. "No it can't be just that... Young girl, has Lord Jabu Jabu been acting oddly lately? I'm not a marine biologist, but my gut tells me something could be seriously wrong with ole Jabu here."

This had to be his what…? Second time of the surface. It wasn’t so bad once you got used to it. Well... Tybal didn’t like flying down here, but that over grown bird can learn to deal with it. Once on the surface, Jacob made his way to Zora’s Domain to where the said meeting spot to go save Lord Jabu Jabu. He had read in some book that he was some giant whale or something. Apparently the whale had eaten something that didn’t want to agree with him or so he had read. That reminded the blonde of something important... Why did he pick this quest?! He hated fish more than anything. Actually he hated eating them. Hopefully he had to do no such thing.
The young squire slowly made his way there in the almost knee high water, grumbling about how annoy it was. At least this was better than spending time with his so-called loving father. The only thing he could hope is that this go around, his teammates would be able to fight for themselves. Sighing, Jacob finally made his way there. Four others already were waiting. While walking up to the four, he studied them. Not really sure what to think at this point in time.
At least he made it. And he was not the last one here. Now only one more person had to come then they could go on their way with saving Lord Jabu Jabu. Jacob didn’t really know what to say to know, so he stayed quiet, a little ways from the small group. He wasn’t going to talk unless spoken to… if he could help it that is. Knowing the situation, he would probably need to speak up sometime or other.
Icarus appeared rather mysteriously, arriving without notice. He did not have much to say, he just observed. The tales of Lord Jabu Jabu were not uncommon in the dark realm. This opportunity to work closely with the whale simply provided a nice learning experience for Icarus. He stood tall, posture straight, near a young blonde man. He nodded to the boy, then the others. A blonde was pestering someone over their lack of formalities. His lips quivered slightly, it made him happy that not all humans were undignified. Icarus wondered how he would be accepted among the group of natives, especially concerning the whale. He wasn't sure how to introduce himself, so instead he just waited.
She's cute but she's clumsy, she says that she loves me
A voice had snuck up on Vera, and she couldn't help but hop and turn around in fight. Oh. It was the boy from that one time uh... oh yes! Kiru. She wasn't sure how really to handle this, but hey! At least he was a familiar face. She smiled at him and gave him a small wave. As a blond entered right behind him. She wasn't sure as to what to say for introductions to be honest and ended up tongue tied as people started walking in.
She looked at everyone and noticed that everyone was waiting for her to speak something, as she was unable to do so herself she quickly brought the paper up to her face. "U-Uh..." She read it over to herself once and then finally "Hello my name is Princess Vera, and I will be leading you through Jabu Jabu. Please take caution as there are lots of monsters inside of him at the moment." She said with a nod, and then looking at everyone then back at the paper.
"Now, if you'll please follow me, we'll get started." She said pulling out the bag of fish she had with her. "Oh.. sometimes he gets excited so.. be sure to watch out." She said quietly before dumping the fish.
The whale opened it's mouth, and Vera smiled as he didn't start breathing them in right away, but after throwin the first fish in, he began sucking everyone in quickly, and Vera felt herself being pulled in and lost inside the whale.
(FROM HERE ON OUT VERA WILL BE GONE, BUT I WILL COME BACK AND POST THE ENEMIES IN EACH ROOM, AFTER YOU COMPLETE THEM)
Seeing the giant fish open it's mouth, Kiru had a puzzled look on his face. "Vera? what are yo-" Kiru had little time to react as the fish sucked in. He managed to keep his footing for a couple seconds before flying towards the gaping maw.
With a yell, the swordsman realized he was heading straight for a jelly fish. He quickly unsheathed his blade. He realized his mistake just in time, and instead of hitting the electrical creature with his sword, he smashed his sheathe into it. The force allowed the blue-haired boy to correct his course and land, if a bit unsteadily, on his feet.
Looking around at the other enemies, Kiru realized just what he had gotten himself into. "This is the last time I follow a pretty girl into a giant fish."
"Wait...Monsters inside of him?", Raeid echoed softly.
Naturally the idea sounded horrifying at first. The idea of beasts roaming around inside of any living creature sounded terrible. For Lord Jabu Jabu it certainly had to be---or at least an excuse to admit being ill. But then she realized he was also a giant well. Perhaps to some extent there was some normalcy in this. Perhaps...
Well anyway when the princess produced a bag of fish to dump in front of the whale, while saying 'Follow me', Raeid was quickly to produce an inkling of what was about to happen. It was a wee bit a crazy thought, she had to admit...but to treat the whale were they supposed to--
Slowly the whale's mouth opened as if to reply to the question. Raeid feeling her nerve begin to weaken looked on as the princess threw in the first fish as if to reward the large creature for his obedience. Yet apparently that wasn't all that was to occur in this story. Suddenly out of nowhere a powerful wind generated by the whale simply inhaling occurs. Drawn toward the vacuum she found herself lifting off of the ground and even flying right into the creature's mouth--admit-ably a little more than just surprised.
"W-Whooooooooahhh!?"
The next thing she knew, when her vision cleared and her mind settled, she was inside of the creature. Rather they were still in the mouth somehow---it was just they simply didn't automatically go any further. It seemed Jabu-Jabu had some experience in controlling just how far people go when he does insane things like that. The idea actually made her smile--both out of being impressed and amusement.
Her amusement, however, was short lived.
After gathering herself from her feet she noticed the child ahead of them surrounded by monsters. She reacted instantly and unraveled the whip at her side. The next movement was to quickly attempt to rescue him from his obviously, horribly grim fate and also keep the rest of the in-coming group from being noticed by the beasts Kiru surely drew attention to himself.
"Child! Watch out!", she cried. With a swing of her whip she caught hold of the boy's sheath, and followed the action with a strong two handed pull that she hoped would forcefully pull him away from an oncoming projectile. With this powerful pull of her whip she hoped to sling the boy, assuming he wasn't stupid enough to let go, a quarter of the way away from the surroundings of monsters. When he at least had a decent amount of distance from the creatures she'd release his sheath from her whip while quickly locating where the large flying rock that nearly stuck him came from.
That was when she had a good look at what was in front of them.

Octorok Health: Damage:
The culpret of the rock attack was the Octorok near the back. It'd noticed them in 'it's territory' almost instantly. That was why it quickly went on the attack to defend it. What surprised Raeid more however was that such a creature lived in this place...until she thought about it. What if these weren't the monsters they were supposed to be worried about? While it was indeed worrying that they were here, they weren't in a place that'd instantly make them too terrible a problem considering it'd not be hard at all for the Octorok, for example, to be dislodged from its place and crushed by Jabu-Jabu's jaws. This was probably more because Jabu-Jabu had not left where he was for a while...Poor thing must have been horribly sick.
Well by now the Octorok wasn't their only problem. The child had attracted the anger of a Jellyfish upon his appearance to the place. So naturally now they all had to deal with it without dealing with the other ones further back in the whale's mouth. So while taking note of where each jellyfish she saw was---which was also trouble-some a thought to her---she carefully looked back to whomever there was to inform.
"Be careful...There are three more jellyfish floating nearby that Octorok. Don't carelessly approach them...unlike the far seeing Octorok I don't think the others have noticed us yet.", Raeid warned,"If we attract all of their attention we're through... so let's deal with them as needed."
After speaking she quickly strafed over to where Kiru was to help him deal with the attacking jellyfish. When it was with-in range she'd sling her whip at the beast with the intent to cut through it with the blades of her whip. A powerful swing might have been enough to send it reeling backward if she could manage it. Since it wasn't expecting it the beast was indeed knocked back and suffering from the blow--but it was quick to retaliate once it came to realize there was a fight for survival to be had. The Jellyfish (B) began to produce electrical currents as if to protect itself. Further it began quickly converging on them. When Raeid saw the electrcity jump from the body of the animal to her whip even after it passed by her she found herself very happy that her entire whip was not made entirely of metal.
"Tch! Don't attack it with your sword. It'll hurt you!", she quickly warned again.
Jellyfish B Health :
All of her attention wasn't fully on the Jelly fish, however. That Octorok was determined to kill them---as it'd quickly fired another rock directly in both her, and Kiru's direction. With barely enough time to try, she attempted to quickly protect Kiru from getting hit by pushing him back again and getting in front of him to lower her own and his body into a ducking stance so that the projectiles wouldn't easily hit them without the Octorok readjusting its aim.
He took several steps away from the whale to get a better look at the Zora girl. Two more stepped up onto the platform to join them. They weren't as talkative as the other two. Simply waiting for instruction. He supposed that was the role they all were forced into as they waited for the Zora girl to fill them in. He watched quizzically while she removed a slip of paper from her pocket and rehearsed the words on them. He let the words tumble through his head.
"What exactly do you mean 'through' him? Is it really safe to be walking around inside of the big guy? What do you mean by monsters too?"
His questions were promptly ignored. Attention was focused on Lord Jabu Jabu and his feeding, his questions happening inconveniently as she threw the first fish in. He looked deep into the whale's mouth, wondering if they were really going to enter in this way. He definitely wasn't experienced with this sort of thing.
The sudden rustling of his clothing and the waving of his hair brought his attention to a much more pressing matter. He shifted his weight as a sudden gale of wind pushed from behind him, straight into Jabu Jabu's mouth! He held his ground. Concern painted his expression at the fear of being eaten by a massive whale. He looked to his fellow whale doctors as they one by one were sent into his mouth. He hardly waited to see everyone go inside. The intention was clear.
"Into the jaws of whale? That's a new one~" he spoke playfully before taking one step and another leading into a leap into the waiting maw.
He tumbled as he landed, training kicking in as instinct. His hand was firmly planted below him as he rested on one knee. He waited for his brain to reorient itself before looking about the area. They didn't get very far before the whale stopped inhaling and closed his mouth. He felt a warm slime, prompting a look at his hand. He immediately lifted his hand and shook it vigorously. His frown displaying disgust.
Sudden activity brought his eyes in their direction. The two members who arrived earlier than him, and more talkative too, were in the middle of conflict with what appeared to be a handful of jellyfish and a squid of some kind. He watched and listened, with some amusement, while she lashed out at the jellyfish and simultaneously warned them of battle conditions. Her observational skills and vocal attitude would prove useful here. He would to always fight side by side with someone like that.
He rose to his feet and tested his balance on the surprisingly firm surface of the whale's tongue. He didn't have long to think about what all their footgear must taste like as another rock from the squid flew in the two's direction. He sprinted toward them, equipping his sword and shield as he went, and stopped in front of where the two had landed.
He timed his block with the approach of the rock. The two materials connected with hollow clank. He grunted as he threw his arm out. A trained response whenever force was applied to his shield. The rock flew away from at toward the jellyfish, hitting the floating creature and causing it to sway in the air.
He stood over the two with his shield held in front of him. "Get to your feet! Let me lead the charge and defend against the projectiles from the squid while you take advantage of your range and weapon of choice against the jellyfish!" He didn't like not being directly useful against the enemies, but if he could keep deflecting these shots from the squid. He glanced around the inside of the Jabu's mouth for the other two who had come. "Everyone! Form up and we can better defend ourselves against these offenders. If I am the only one equip with a shield I will take the front!"

Well this day couldn’t get any worse, right? He could only hope so. For now Jacob decided to keep his distance away from the others. And when Icarus came a little closer to him, he inched a little ways from him. Why did he sign up for this? Oh right… it was either this or get another scolding about how he should be spending his time not reading all the time and be doing whatever, and that he should be coming home earlier at night. Yep. Being here was a lot better even though at some point he was going to have to talk to someone sooner or later.
He silently listened to the words of the Zora princess. One thing he didn't understand was that why would there be monsters instead the whale in the first place. That didn’t make sense. How did they get there? The blonde pushed those thoughts away. No time to be getting distracted. This quest sounds like a dangerous one, which made it even better. He couldn’t remember the last time he actually got to fight off some monsters, so this was actually kind of exciting for him.
What was she doing with a bag of fish…? Now that Jacob actually thought about it she did say something about walking inside Jabu Jabu. That couldn’t be right. No way that could be possible. Why would Jabu Jabu eat them… unless that was what the gross fish were for. Oh crap. “Wait! You don’t actually-“ He was cut off by the sound of Jabu Jabu sucking him and his teammates inside its giant mouth. There was little time for the squire to grab hold of anything to stop himself from getting sucked in.
His heart racing as he found himself getting lifted off his feet and was pulled in. This couldn’t be happening. How could he be getting eaten by the very same thing he didn’t like eating… a whale was a fish, right? Note to look that up later. Well if he didn’t end up dying in Jabu Jabu that is.
His landing wasn’t a graceful one either. The poor kid ended up landing hard on his back. That was going to leave a mark later on. “Ow… that hurt…” Jacob groaned, rubbing the back of his head. That could have gone worse. Now… where was he? He pushed himself to his feet, looking around his surroundings. At least it wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be somehow the whale managed to keep the group five other people in its giant mouth… wait make that four others. Where did the princess go?
Before he was able to say anything about it, one of the other males of the group started giving out orders. Jacob just rolled his eyes. If he wanted to be told what to do he would have stay home. Whatever. He just decided to just listen anyhow. But it seems that his weapon of choice being a sword would be useless against these guys… unless you wanted to get electrocuted that is, which he didn’t.
But nonetheless, the blonde haired male unsheathed his sword, and made his way a little closer to the particular teammate that was barking out orders. “So… now what?” He questioned. As much as he hated it, it was best for him to not attack a jellyfish even if he wanted to attack so bad, getting hurt was not worth it.
Kiru gasped as he was flung backwards, directly behind the girl with the whip. She then attacked the jellyfish before he could warn her of the electricity. He was glad it wasn't necessary, however, as her whip didn't seem to fully conduct an electrical current. He was surprised as the girl went to protect the swordsman from a rock hurtling towards them. The rock was stopped, however, by a man who sent it into one of the jellyfish. Kiru was a little irritated. He hadn't been more than a burden thus far and he vowed to change that. The dark haired boy heard the command to attack the jellyfish, but Kiru knew he could be of more use than that. "Wouldn't it be more helpful if we didn't have to worry about that rock shooter?" Kiru smiled as he knew the next question would be along the lines of what Kiru could do about it. Kiru spotted the source of his irritation and flung his sheathe. It arced around the room, nearly invisible in the poor light of the whale, and the squid never saw it coming. The sheathe smashed into it's face, knocking it over, and hopefully stunning it long enough to deal with the jellyfish. The sheathe quickly returned and Kiru caught it with practiced precision, though this did not stop the pain shooting up his arm. Next, as to not alert the rest of the jellyfish, he cast shade on the next closest one, confident the whip-girl could take out the one in front of them. He knew the effect would take a bit and he would be defenseless while casting, but this group had protected him twice so Kiru figured he would be okay.
Raeid's whip cut through the air a second time, from behind the protection of Nyles' shield. In it's diagonol-sideways arc it sliced through the body of the severely weakened Jellyfish (B) and killed it instantly. After drawing back her whip she quickly surveyed the positioning of the monsters ahead of them and noticed a tactically safe route. If they were careful they could get by without having to fight all of the monsters. They only had to kill that Octorok and possibly one other Jellyfish(C).
So when she heard Nyles' words she half-smiled to herself. It seemed she had a competent team on her side this round. Following his lead she stuck close behind him, but moved to grab hold of his clothes gently as if to both lead him slightly, and let him know she was there.
"If we stick close to this wall and strife over to that Jellyfish on the right of the Octorok we can avoid the two on its otherside. They don't seem to have noticed us yet.", she'd comment. After speaking she saw Kiru move from the corner of her eye, and watched as he sent his sheath flying like a boomerang to the skull of the Octorok to stun it. When the beast fell over Raeid saw that as their chance to quickly move closer to Jellyfish(C) and gently tugged at Nyles' shirt. She'd noticed Kiru went further to cast a spell on the same Jellyfish(C) they were heading closer to, so she prepared her whip as well just in-case defending became necessary.
"Now's your chance if you're leading, Sir!", she'd say to Nyles before letting him go. She figured she could defend against the Jellyfish(C) well enough to force it back with a whiplash if it tried to gang on their Sheild bearer while he moved closer to take advantage of the fallen Octorok. With this they could surely get by without having to bother the other two Jellyfish at all.
"The Octorok shouldn't have any ability to shock you if you attack it with your normal sword. Perhaps you two with swords can manage some kind all-out attack on it while our charge-leader is defending us?", She'd offer this since she noticed the quiet boy and the child they saved both had swords.
If they could get that Octorok surrounded and handled while she fended off Jellyfish(C), long enough for the shade spell to kill it, they could at least get through the first part of this ordeal without getting hurt.

This was actually exciting. When was the last time he actually felt this happy? He couldn’t remember. Sure he was eaten by some overgrown fish with a group of people he couldn’t care less about. All that mattered was the fighting off the monsters that were left. So far the only enemy that had been killed was jellyfish. The same thing Jacob couldn’t kill without gaining himself an electric shock in the process. He eyed the Octorok from his current spot in the back of the group. That was the only thing he could hit with his sword without getting electrocuted. That would be his target for now. No way was he going to miss out of the action now.
“I’m going to go ahead and attack the thing now.” Jacob announced to his teammates. Sure it was extremely reckless of him, but he couldn’t help it. He had to prove himself to well… himself. And killing some monster was going to do that. Quickly, the young squire ran past his teammates and in between jellyfish A and jellyfish C. He lifted his two handed sword and brought down on the Octorok. He then jumped back a couple feet away from it and readied himself for another attack.
For now the blonde just stood there both hands on the hilt of his blade, the point of the sword aimed towards the enemy in front of him. He gave himself time for quick breather before launching himself at the Octorok, sending it another blow with his sword.
Maybe not the best idea on his part, but he couldn’t help it. It was just the way he was. Jacob wanted in on some of the action, so he did. Nothing more, nothing less. It didn’t matter to him whether or not he got hurt. The only reason he signed up for this quest was to get away from his parents and to finally be able to use his skills for something else other than fighting a dummy. Octorok Health: Damage:
