Masquerade
If one was to go into Castle town on this starry skied night, they wouldn't hear a single noise. And for the head capital of the country that was something to say. Though, if you got close enough and listened to the castle you could hear loud music and laughter all around! The whole country was invited to the large castle to have a fun time.
The courtyard is decorated with candles, and is now being used as a dance floor for all those interested in such things and being outside. There is also the ballroom, that you may also dance and enjoy your time in.
If you're feeling hungry feel free to go to the dining room where rows and rows of food and sweet treats can be seen. Along with tables to sit at and converse.
If you're looking for a more private spot, there's plenty of balconies and empty rooms the king would welcome you to join in~
And later, there shall be a winner for three different awards:
Best costume Best dancer Cutest couple
Each winner will receive a different award~ Now have fun and party to your hearts content!
Why did he have to wear a damn mask? This sucked, especially considering he had the dumbest costume ever. But it was also the only one he happened to have lying around. He adjusted the orange fox ears on his head slightly, he sat out in the courtyard. First guest aloud in, servants where scrambling about in also dumb costumes, sighing he sat down at the small sage set up for him. It had instruments all around. Looking at them all, he noticed how nice they where all also forced to be in ridiculous costumes. Most where just maids and butler's though.. lucky sons-of-a-bitches. He thought, sitting down at his music.
This was NOT the musician's forte. But, it was a job from the fucking royal family of Hyrule. How could he reject? He was going to get so much money from this, he wouldn't have to ever work again. Or he'd at least not have to worry about being able to afford a good amount of alcohol for the next month or so.
Speaking of which, after his shift was over he'd probably have to hit up the dining room to get some of that. Looking up He noticed the servants where at their posts, and guards where all around. Well, it was his cue he guessed. Going over to the guitar, he sat down and started playing. Slow songs where good for the start and end of things. So people didn't feel so pressured to dance, he'd slowly pick it up as people started gathering in.

A party of fools, riches, and drink. A grand night. It would allow anyone to come and go as they pleased, but hopefully staying. Along the bridge of her nose sat a black mask, one that resembled a butterfly. Small puffets of silver trimmed the sides of the mask. In the center, there lay a yellow gem, shining in the slight. A soft wrap around her, the woman took it around her. The silk slid across the floor, it was as if she made no noise when walking. A chill in the air, she tugged at her golden wrap again, nuzzling against it to get whatever heat she could get out of it.
In the main room, others were coming and going. A soft smirk appeared across her face. Her dark hair swooped around her shoulders as she cared to bother a man for directions on where to sit. Sliding a finger down on of the guard's bicep, the metal smooth against her touch. Oh, how she would enjoy this. The man did not change his expression, but asked a gruff 'what?' when he noticed her. As she moved to ask, she placed her hand under her bosom, accentuating her cleavage and asked where the main tables were. When explained, she nodded to him before going to the next room.
The yellow and black clad female walked to the next room, wings from her costume, moving slightly - like that of a butterfly behind her. "Hmm...." There were still few people here. "I wonder when the fun will really start."

The lights and the sounds of the building as he entered didn't really bother him. He normally didn't find the need for such parties, but he supposed it was a good break from what he normally did all the time, which was by no means social. That's right, he normally just sat in that one spot, day in and day out, the same methods and rules applying day by day. But hey, the worst the party could do was kill him, right? He winced inwardly at the thought, eventually dragging his thoughts away from the matter altogether.
A bothered sigh left his lips, as he hadn't even bothered to get too much into a costume. A simple black mask that covered him up to the tip of his nose, much like a bird-type mask, a black tuxedo, and he was off to the races. He didn't pay much attention to the arrival of the other guests either. Most of the time, he much preferred it to be him and his thoughts, and he actually had no idea why he thought coming out to a party would change that at all. He seemed to be one of the first to arrive, but he was pretty sure that he would be seeing a lot more people soon--wonderful.
Of all the things she has seen, nothing is more interesting than candles.
Those small flickering flames swimming happily in the dark, cheerful like small children in their holiday morning. So small, so frail, yet holds so much miracles behind their reddish veil.
Miracles she can never fully understand.
For other guests, The Lady seems to be a candle enthusiast, slightly stooping forward to examine one of the many candles in the courtyard. She is obviously a tall person, and looking at her posture and way of walking has a subtle grace and elegance in her. But even lighted by these many candles her face is completely obscured by a rather thick black lace veil, hanging down from her wide brimmed hat in a straight severe line. Her hat, like her veil, is also colored black, although lighter, and has a bold black satin band encircling it and kept in place on the right side by a striking white moon flower.
The Lady rises from the candle she has been inspecting, shakes her head slightly, and proceeds to go inside the castle with slightly swaying steps, as if uncomfortable with herself. Her figure is hard to tell, for she wears a black velvet ball gown with a full-skirt that reaches the floor. The skirt is not fully inflated, and in fact seems to be hanging rather loosely. The dress also covers both her shoulders in a rather plain style, without padding. They connect to a pair of evening gloves, also made of black fabric, that continue to her long dainty fingers, refusing to show any of her skin. As if this is not enough, The Lady wears a dark grey cape that flowingly covers her shoulders until her waist, held in middle of her chest by a brooch that looks like a small spherical ball, shining in bronze reflection.
Even with her elegant bearing, the choice of her attire seems to imply that she has chosen her outfit at random, or perhaps she is being loaned for all of them. Also, the party is intended to be a masquerade.
Although if masks are defined as something that covers faces up, she certainly does cover her face.
And for her, not only her face that is being covered.
Without a single word, she enters the palace gate and proceeds to the stairs leading up, where several dimly lit balconies can be accessed. It seems that she is aiming for a balcony that overlooks the palace court, perhaps to fill her time until more guests arrive.
But aside from a few polite nods to guests currently present, nothing can be taken from her gesture.

The Mistress had actually pulled together a costume that would have been surprising for anyone who knew her. Or- well, kinda. She was still an animal, but not just her favorite. She had bunny ears on her head, a cat mask, with whiskers covering her face. Then bear-designed gloves where on her hands. No, they where not ridiculously large or something, actually pretty gloves that just had bear like claws made out of felt on the tips. Finally to finish this black and white costume, the girl had a black dogs tail on her back. While, her actually outfit was a beautiful long sparkling black dress that was tight on the small frame of the girl.
When she walked in, she felt great. She wasn't sure why, but confidence had filled the woman as she walked in. She felt beautiful, especially with how she had her favorite things disguising her. In this moment she could talk to anyone, and they wouldn't know who she was. Who they where, and she could be anyone she wanted. And that made her feel so much better. It was nice to have an escape like this every now and again. Meeting new people was exciting for this same reason.
Looking around, the mistress' breath was taken away by the beauty of the ball room. She found herself a corner, listening to the music that began playing. A few people had come in and already started dancing to the music that happened to be playing. The Mistress wanted to dance too, and suddenly regretted not coming with anyone. Biting her lip, she waited.
He didn't dance, and if there was one thing he normally refused to do, it was just that. He knew how to dance, it was just a matter of getting up and doing so, but he wasn't one for that. If anything, it just wasn't his thing. You could get him to sing, indeed, but dance? Not normally. What was different about today? Well...considering it was the first time he had come out of his cave in a long while, and he narrowly had the chance to meet pretty women, what being stuck in a man cave with just a bear to keep him company. On top of that he hadn't slept in about two days, but finally had to admit he was stumped and well, here he was, at a Masquerade in the grand Hyrule Castle. He was pretty bland to say the least, but maybe someone would accept his hand in a dance rather than, you know, call some guards on him or something.
He sipped gingerly at his wine, swirling it around a bit in the cup. He then stood up, dusting off his Tuxedo a little bit and scanning the room. There was quite a few ladies there, but out of all of them one caught his attention. A girl dressed as a myriad of animals.Obviously, his get-up paled in comparison, but he sort of expected a costume like that, to look...more silly. Combining so many animals, you would think that the outfit would look a lot crazier, but it had actually been pieced together in a lovely way. And that's how he decided which lady to single out on this fine night. Stepping over to her, he came to her side casually, trying to think of something to say.
"What's a lovely lady like yourself doing here all by yourself?" Of course, she could have come here with someone. And of course,if this someone wanted to, he could probably beat him up, but that would serve him right for speaking to random women in such a manner. He was careful not to get lost in his thoughts as he waited for the women to respond.
