Mia wasn't sure what happened to her friend. Malvis had up and disappeared in the Southern Swamp and Mia had to return home to keep her father from sending guards after her. Who knows how that would turn out. "I'm worried about him." She said to know one. The moon overhead was looking particulary menacing tonight. The stars on the other hand weren't too bad looking. Maybe that was the only hope right now for Malvis. Wishes on stars. Mia was alone. Except for the guard at the gate and the Great Fairy hiding in her cave it seemed as though no one else was around to talk to. She just needed something to do. Someone she could talk to without worrying about secrets being told. Someone no one else would notice. LAIKA OF GS!

Some people might consider midnight strolls to be odd or a bother, but Kouta actually rather enjoyed them. Not that he liked the night more than the day, but he could still appreciate the value of things at Night. Besides, it's not like he had anywhere to sleep; "Travelling the world" does come with the unfortunate side-effect of becoming homeless, so any log was as good to sleep in as the next, and the biggest problem was actually finding somewhere comfortable to sleep. With that in mind, Kouta was quite enjoying his little stroll through the park as he looked for somewhere to snooze. He bounded from plant to plant with an enthusiasm not befitting how late it was. It was eerily quiet; So much so that it was actually starting to bother him. Maybe it was the fact he was in a town, but night seemed even quieter than the norm, and Kouta could barely stand how utterly still it was. Nothing like nights had been in the forest. So it's not like he was trying to overhear the only other person who seemed to be in the park. He just... did. The small comment to nobody has successfully grabbed Kouta's attention, piquing his curiosity. Finding somewhere to nap could wait. A few quick bounds and he would land in front of the girl, staring up at her with roughly a foot between them; Though even then she might not notice him until he spoke. Mia had made her wish, even if she didn't know it. "Um... Hello?" Mia asked when she heard someone talking to her. Looking down she saw who it was. One of the Picori! Strange that one would come to her, she was nearly the age to be considered an adult. "Oh hello there!" She said. "My name's Mia and well, about my expression." Well she got what she wanted now if only she could find a way to make it easier to explain. "I've lost a good friend of mine and now I can't find him." Mia explained. "Oh, I'm making it sound like he's dead aren't I? He's alive as far as I know just missing." The human girl lied down on her back and looked at the stars. This was far easier than she had thought, thank the Goddess for that. LAIKA OF GS!

"Mmmm...."Kouta hummed out while the girl introduced herself. It completely skipped his mind to give his own name, as he listened to her explain the reason behind her forlorn state. He nodded in acknowledgement, though it wasn't like she'd be able to see much of it anyway given his size. His right hand scratched the side of his head for a moment as he mulled over her dilemna. As she lied back to look up at the stars, he bounced closer to her, landing right by her head, a few inches to her right. His gaze mimiced hers, shifting away from her and up toward the sky. "If he's just missing, why not go look for him?"Not exactly wise words of wisdom, but it's the only advice Kouta knew to give. Kouta always did preferred action to words- Or thinking at all, sometimes. To him the solution seemed to be the simplest; If you lost something, you went and looked for it until you found it. He assumed there might be something preventing her from doing so, but honestly couldn't think of a good reason to leave a friend out missing and unaccounted for. His head shifted as he turned to look back at Mia. "I can even help ya look, if you'd like." Made by a Melon!
