Lillith laid surrounded by the warmth of the sheets around her. Her violet eyes staring up at the ceiling studying the different patterns in the wood. It was all she could do to pass the time, it was boring being unable to work. But movement still hurt due to the bruises all over her. Looking back at the small table next to her with the food she had picked at, all she wanted was to go back and get back to cleaning. To bad is seemed that, that life was almost behind her now.
Her hair was down, and long, rather then in it's normal braids. Due to that it was really curly, and Lillith just didn't feel right. She didn't feel good at all. Would it be strange for her to say she missed Mr. Defticai? Whatever, it didn't matter anymore he had to be stopped, and he was. But.. who could have hurt her? And why? She didn't know them.. but.. it had to be one of Defticai's friends.. she hadn't considered it due to the fact that he never seemed to interact.. but surly he had to have SOMEONE behind his back.
She wished she hadn't been so stupid. Closing her eyes to just take a moment she also had to figure out how to thank Mr. Dragonsflame, the one that had answered her letters. To be honest she didn't think she'd have the chance as she wasn't planning to leave the island at first. Not until it seemed she had no other choice. Letting out a sigh, she wished she could just sleep but her rushing mind was telling her that wasn't going to happen any time soon.

Josh meanwhile had taken a little time off after the mission. He had been banged up pretty badly, a consequence of taking such a dangerous quest. But he didn't regret it, not for one second. He had helped someone who otherwise would have been raped and killed, along with others, Josh had made a difference in someone's life. And that fact made him happy.
His leg had been messed up during the quest, and had been hit pretty hard in the boss fight. But Josh knew he would recover. It wasn't too bad after all, it just hurt to high Hyrule. Before he knew it, he'd be back on his feet and helping the people of this world all over again. And that day, he couldn't wait for.
For now? It was time for a little R&R. With his new funds, Josh had been able to make living a little more... Bearable, to say the least. His new home felt more like a home then a shack, and he almost forgot sometimes he lived there with how long he'd lived in near poverty.
As Josh limped to the mailbox after finishing dinner, his thoughts went back to Lillith, the girl who he had contacted who had gotten him to this quest. He figured she had went to live elsewhere, or even taken the island for herself once her "Boss" had been killed and Ulrich had been freed, but he still worried about her. He considered perhaps taking a boat sometime, to see if she was still there... Ah, if only there were some better way to get ahold of her besides letters to someone who's address he didn't know if they still used or not, he thought to himself.
Checking the mail and scooping up a few letters, the Adventurer grimaced in pain as his leg nearly gave out on him, using the mailbox to straighten himself before hobbling back into the house. For Hylia's sake, that hurt.
After some time, Lillith had fallen back asleep. After resting for a little bit, she got up and stretched. After laying in bed for so long her muscles protested. But hey, at least she was walking. Looking over at the mirror in the room, she walked over and started putting her hair up back in it's normal braids. She was going to go for a walk today if it killed her! After getting all "prettied up" She stepped back and smiled, satisfied. With a nod, she hopped up and walked out.
Sure it was kinda painful, but after a little bit of walking she felt the aching ease up on her a little bit after she got used to her. Walking along the streets she began looking in some small shops, and started buying ingredients for a dinner that she could make for herself, of course she could just buy a meal but hey! She liked cooking. She wondered if any of the heroes where still around, she knew Rune had come in and checked up on her every now and again, such a sweet girl.
Lillith smiled softly before turning off the streets, to see a familiar face. "Oh!" She stated, unexpected to see such a familiar face limping back inside a house. He had letters in his hands. Running over a bit she walked over and smiled. "Mr. Dragonsflame?" but he had gone into the house. She clung to the basket in her arms and looked down at it, kind of disapointed. "Mr. Dragonsflame?" she stated again, hoping he'd hear.

Speak of the devil. Josh heard a familiar voice as he started to close the door, looking back to find Lillith of all people standing in front of him. He gave a big smile at her in greeting.
"Lillith!" he said, chuckling. "It's a pleasure to see you! It's kind of funny actually, I was just thinking about you" he admitted, smirking as he opened the door fully. His leg was bandaged up quite a bit, so it didn't take him limping for her to see the consequences that the fight had taken on him.
"What brings you out here?" he asked curiously, leaning on the door. He almost instinctively stopped leaning in fear of the door breaking off of it's hinges, but realized it was a new house, new door, and wasn't like the dirty old one with the door that would break at anytime. He wasn't a poverty stricken ex guard anymore, after all.
Lillith smiled as he noticed her, and she couldn't help but feel a little relieved. Oh good! Until she noticed his leg and her smile wavered just for a second. "Ah.." She commented blushing slightly at the thought that anyone would ever think of her. She looked back up at his face "Oh..? Funny, I was hoping to run into you!" She commented, feeling guilty about the leg.
"But.. I just have been in bed all day from being beaten up.. so I decided to go out for a walk.. I went and picked up some ingredients for dinner, although.. now that I think about it, kind of silly of me since I'm stuck in the inn and I have no kitchen to use them in." She rambled nervously, it'd been so long since she's talked to anyone but Defticai. And not only that but she was sure he blamed her for the leg and stuff.
Fiddling with her hair a bit. "I-I'm sorry you got hurt helping me..." She finally commented, hoping he'd forgive her. "If you want me to leave you alone so you can rest I understand, and wont bother you again." She said, bowing to him apologetically.

He chuckles a bit. "Don't worry about it" he promised. "It's fine. It's part of the job. Besides, I'm happy I was able to help you and your friend" he reassured with a slight smile.
"I get hurt like this all the time, I promise. Well... Okay, not this bad, but... Hey, it was a big mission, a big job. I knew the risks. I'm a tough guy" he promised. "I'll be up and at em again sooner or later. I just need to sleep off the pain"
"You want to come in?" he offered, holding the door open for her. "Maybe afterword we'll go for a walk or something. I just woke up not too long ago, leg usually hurts in the mornings too much for me to do much, but it'll numb enough for me to get around soon enough" he said.
Feeling better that he didn't regret it, Lillith relaxed a bit more. She hoped he didn't mind that she was a little bit more then a worry-wart at times. Glad that he invited her inside, so he could sit down she nodded "If it isn't to much trouble." she commented, walking inside, and finding a place to sit, hoping he would be too. "Only if you're up for it, I don't mind sitting if you want to rest." She commented.
Fiddling with her fingers she looked around a bit and smiled. "If you'd like I could make you something, back when I worked in the castle I was considered Hyrule's best cook you know?" She prided herself on her cooking techniques, and liked to make things for people. She could work with little to nothing to, and still make something nice.
"Of course if you'd rather me not, I understand." She spoke, in hopes he would say yes.

He chuckled a bit as he took a seat. "Do you want me to be honest?" he asked, a smirk on his face. "I. Am a TERRIBLE cook" he said with a slight laugh. "I'm either eating out, or making something really small to keep me going. If you want to make something for the both of us, feel free to" he said. "Of course, don't think you have to just because I invited you in. You're my guest, Lillith. You do only what you want to do" he promised.
He shook out his leg a bit, taking a breath. "As for rest.. I'll be fine sooner or later. It's just a morning thing" he assured. "Sorry if the leg gets in the way though"
