Blond haired blue eyes handsome Addie was super tired. She's had about two hours of sleep in the past three days. All her siblings had been keeping her busy with everything. And with the new baby there, it'd never give her a chance to sleep. Today though, she had a break from all of that. Her siblings where all away, all at some children's event. And the neighbor agreed to take them off her hands for awhile. So, the second Addie realized she had some time to herself, she mailed Jacob to meet her out by the dock. She really should be sleeping. Her constant yawning was a sure sign of that. But Jacob was more important to her then sleep. She liked spending time with him anyway, and was hoping he'd go flying with her soon. Mocha was ready too, grooming herself to get ready for the flight. Addie was standing there helping her do it. There really wasn't anyway for Addie to know for sure he'd show up. He could be busy at it WAS a last minuet thing. Still, she would probably sit here until five in the morning if she had too. Addie had a weird thing about hope, not only that but she was incredibly stubborn at times. And how many times did she have this long away from the kids? She sighed petting Mocha's beak. " He'll show up, right?" She asked, hoping with all her might that she was right. Jacob was probably the only reason she hadn't fallen apart through this. He was strong, and so she could be too. He lost a sibling, where as Addie just simply had one to many. Or well... five to many. Still, he'd been really hurt by it and Addie felt useless in the fact that she wasn't helping him out all the time. But she sure as hell could try.

Jacob always hated his full name for a reason. Whenever he heard it, it might he was in hell of a lot of trouble. Getting an hour and half lecture about how he shouldn’t have stayed out all night. It was more like he shouldn’t have sneaked in the house to begin with. Stupid move on him. Why did it even matter? After all, he was an adult… though he didn’t act like it, but still! A seventeen year old man shouldn’t be getting yelled at because he didn’t come home last night! Whatever. That was done with. For now anyway he could always get another scolding later. He continued down the path, mumbling to himself about how unfair everything was. Why couldn’t his parents just leave him alone? He’s been through enough already. Losing Jake like that did a huge number on him all together. Couldn’t they see that? He failed at protecting his little brother and just knowing that fact made everything hurt worse. He shouldn’t have been the one that lived. That was the only thing that he regretted the most, living while his twin had died the most horrible way. In the back of his mind, Jacob knew now was not the time to be getting all depressed again. But he couldn’t help it. Everything he ever wanted was gone, leaving him with little hope of anything. Sighing, he kept on with his steady pace until he made it to the meeting pace. All of his depressing thoughts dropped like weights from him as Addie came into view. Let’s just bury all those thoughts for now. There was always later to be hating himself. “Hey Addie!” the blonde announced, walking up to her. “S-sorry I’m kind of late… I was sort of getting another lecture about coming home at night.” Best to just keep at that… there was a lot more to the story of why he was getting yelled at than that. But probably best to keep all that stuff unsaid. He totally wasn’t doing something stupid the night before. “Anyway, shouldn’t you be spending your day off sleeping?” He asked. The more he thought about it, he never really quite understood why Addie wanted to spend any time with him. The only thing he did was shut everyone out and yet she still made some time to hang out with him no matter what. He could at least spend a day with her, right? Might as well. “So... What do you want to do today?” He tried his best to avoid eye contact, feeling a little embarrassed. Made by a Melon!

Blond haired blue eyes handsome Addie stood petting Mocha more, the loftwing was anticipating the ride, knowing very well that Addie was planning. As Addie was so busy she rarely got to go flying with her companion and every time Mocha got excited. And it was Mocha that turned her around as Jacob walked up. Addie smiled, happy that he came and she felt a big weight off her shoulders. Mocha flew off, to give her time to talk to Jacob. " I'm sorry they're giving you a hard time.." Addie said, hoping everything was seriously alright with him. Biting her lip she sort of closed herself up, putting her knees together and putting a hand up to her face, blushing and looking at the ground. This was common of her if she was asking for something from someone. " I was.. I was wondering um..." She knew when she acted like this it could be annoying but the anxiety in her heart was to great for her to just ignore. She just go so nervous when asking something from someone. " I was wondering if you'd like to go flying with me?" her voice was still soft and quiet, but she did ask it, and she was at least loud enough to hear. Hoping he'd say yes, her blue eyes peeked up at him from behind her light blond bangs.

Jacob grimaced at her apology, finding it quite annoying. Is that all she had to say? What was she sorry for? The way he didn’t go home last night? That wasn’t her fault. It was his own fault for doing something so stupid. It was his choice to keep living his life the way he was. “Stop apologizing. It’s not your fault.” He replied back. It wasn’t anyone else’s fault, but his own. Besides, ever since his twin died he wasn’t able to get a good night’s rest, so why bother going home? He often woke up in the middle of the night with horrible nightmares of that incident. At first he didn’t know what to do at Addie’s sudden flustered face and moments. Then again the more he thought about it she usually acted like this when she asked for something. By now the young squire was used to it and just waited for the whole question to be done and over with. He couldn’t be very well be mean to her, not when she stuck by him all these years despite the way he acted most of the time. He raised a brow when she asked if he wanted to go flying with her. At first, he had no idea how to answer that. It’s been forever since anyone wanted to do anything with him. Every day was usually spent alone reading some book or sometimes even training himself. The only people he ever talked to was his parents. Nervously Jacob ran a hand through his hair, “Um… I guess. I don’t see why not.” he answered. That would explain why they were to meet up at the dock. But still one thing he couldn’t understand why spend the day with him? He past those thoughts aside for now. “It’ll be fun!” Made by a Melon!
