Welcome to NewWaif Connecticut, the year is 2034, buildings are crumbling , streets are empty, and homes are abandoned. The release of the XR virus has nearly annihilated all human existence and what does still remain has retreated underground. The XR Virus was originally intended to be a cure for mad cow disease but it mutated and instead created monsters that attacked each other, quickly infecting the populace. Animals went on unaffected by the virus and ignored by the humanoid monsters and dogs quickly rose to a dominant pressence. House pets turned rogue, gangs and street packs formed, pushing other species into submission. Dogs are gaining strength in numbers and power and it’s all a matter of time before their reign is utterly undeniable. Will you survive in NewWaif or will you fall victim to its predators..?
