[Quest] Picking up Supplies

"Royalty huh?" Allevy muttered to himself as he walked. His feelings were somewhat conflicted what with the current growing situation. He had signed himself up for some castle retaking group without even being asked to. Not only that, but he could feel some sort of change occurring in the world and even within himself. He wasn't sure what was changing, but something certainly was, and for the first time in quite awhile it was making him uncomfortable. It had begun with the stone tucked into his pocket, something called the Spiritual Stone of Fire which he was given during his job in Death Mountain after clearing the place out. He was then led to the Temple of Time and presented a rather large sword as a weapon. It wasn't really his style, but he had been assured that he specifically was chosen for that sword. It was in fact, so large that it hindered his movements when he wielded it and it was left at home currently, hidden away.

What really unnerved him though, was what the Sage of Light, er, "Missy" called him and the group he arrived with. "Heroes". A Hero of Fate. How in the world was he chosen for this role? He wasn't much more than a thief and someone who did oddjobs, hardly befitting of some hero of fate. Not only that, but... "Tsk. Some hero I am. Some of this crap might even be my fault..." Allevy kicked the ground as he walked. Evil came in and used the opening he helped create to grow in power then overrun Hyrule Castle Town. If he hadn't opened that damned door, maybe none of this would have happened. 

So what exactly was he fighting for? Peace? Rewards? Guilt? All of those were true to a degree. But what they would accomplish if they took back the castle was still in question now that most of the nobles were killed. It was quite a bit to think about, but right now that was a trouble for another time.

Currently, he was on his way to meet with one of the surviving Princesses, Princess Tatyana. He had vague memories about her having seen her before, but he paid little attention to nobility in the first place. He recalled her having a good reputation among the commonwealth at least, so hopefully she wouldn't be too irritating to deal with like another certain princess he had met before. Still, very rarely did anyone ever deserve a fate like that. 

As Allevy neared his destination, he wondered to himself if he went a bit overboard with his equipment for this job. Monsters were abundant in Hyrule Castle Town, but pretty scarce around Ordon. He supposed it was never bad to play it safe, but lately he felt a bit overarmed to while walking around. Well, some of his equipment was brand new, so they would prove their worth once the time actually came. After arriving at the appointed location, Allevy checked around to see if Tatyana was around. Pink hair was normally something pretty difficult to miss, though the same could be said for Purple.

Taty was getting her supplies together. She was a little nervous due to the fact that she knew that it'd be dangerous. But her determination to help the people in need was far stronger then the fear in her heart. As far as she was considered she was no longer a princess, but another civilian fighting for life in the world that was all changed.

"We'll get it back." She quietly reminded herself. After getting everything strapped to the horse she was borrowing she pet the beauty.  Waiting for her protector. She was anxious, and had ended up starting to get ready a lot earlier then she should have.

Biting her lip she looked out into the old dirt road hopping that maybe he'd be a bit early to. But for now, she just stood there. Keeping her ears open for any enemies. When she finally saw a figure she let out a breath she must of been holding, and then finally shouted.

"Allevy?!" She asked waving him over to her in hopes that he'd notice.

Allevy soon caught sight of another person as he walked, a girl with pink hair. Chances were, she was his client. He was about to call out, but she beat him to it. Yep, that was her. "That's me. You must be Tatyana then." Pink hair, royal looking outfit, yep. That was her. "Good to see you're alright. And that you're early. Let's get this done as soon as possible." Allevy motioned for them to get going. He looked over the horse, somewhat surprised at how little supplies they were transporting, but he supposed that two people wouldn't be able to transport too much.

"I'll walk a bit in front, you should probably get on the horse as we go. Monsters here are normally small fry, but I'd rather not risk running into anything like what you'd find in castle town now."

Taty smiled happily, glad that he had finally showed up. "Ah It's a pleasure to meet you!" She smiled happily, glad that he was there. Well.. he really wanted an early start. Taty looked over at him and nodded. "Alright, I'll get up on the horse." She commented, getting up on the horse she had, and rode side sadel, her legs on the side of the horse.

"Let's get going then.. ah, I wanted to thank you for helping me out Allevy, it really means a lot I have to make sure that we get these supplies to the people that need them." decided to thank him since really she did have to get the supplies there. She trotted along with her horse bouncing her. "It's really sad what's happened, isn't it? I wish there was more I could do..."

"Same here. A shame it couldn't be under different circumstances." Allevy gave a slightly bitter smile in response to Tatyana's rather enthusiastic greeting. He wasn't a fan of royalty or nobles, but she had been one of the few that was well liked by the community, and he could see why too. He was at least relieved she had some energy in her unlike her sister who seemed utterly broken and defeated by the takeover.

Allevy nodded, satisfied as the Princess followed his instructions and climbed onto the horse. Normally it probably would have been unthinkable for him to be ordering around a Princess, but in this environment, Allevy was certainly more experienced than she was. "Good. Not to be pessimistic, but worst case scenario, you're to leave me and get the supplies to base." He began to set off before stopping once more as the Princess talked to him again.

"... I appreciate your gratitude, but don't bother with it. I'm doing my job and you're doing yours." He said without bothering to turn, walking to the side of the horse although a bit ahead. He listened to her talk, but at the same time kept alert for any sort of disturbances around them. "More you could do huh? I dunno. Maybe if I did a bit less, none of this would have happened." Allevy said almost inaudibly. As one of the people who opened the door to the Sacred Realm, he had been partially responsible for what had happened to the castle. Had he meant for it to happen? Of course not, and there wasn't really any helping what happened. The Princess had the right to know what had happened though.

"I won't mince words here, I'm partially to blame for what happened. The monsters grew in strength because of an opening in the Sacred Realm. I'm one of the people responsible for that opening. Think and feel how you want about me and that. After everything that's happened though, I won't be able to sit still unless those things are driven out of the castle."
