[PLOT] The Rebellion

Note: This is a heavily plot-related quest! The quest-giver, Princess Laurel Hyrule, is attempting to put together an army capable of defeating the monsters that have taken over the castle. Anyone who would like to participate should post here, and then head to this board. The army won’t move out until a decent-sized group has been gathered, but in the meantime you’re welcomed to hang out at the rebel base.

This thread will be updated with more information as participants arrive.

Quest Name: The Rebellion
Quest Location: Faron Woods
Quest Goal: To reclaim Hyrule Castle.
Quest Description:  A flyer is posted in various places throughout Hyrule – the safer parts of it, at least. Runners have distributed it as best they could, but given the rebel army’s small numbers, it’s been difficult to get the word out. It reads:

TO ALL WHO ARE CAPABLE – HELP IS NEEDED!

You with time, resources, and skills – the realm needs you! We are gathering an army of able-bodied warriors to retake what is rightfully ours.
I have reason to believe that the heir to the throne of Hyrule is alive. That’s all I can say here – For more information, find me in the Faron Woods.

This tragedy will not ruin us.

Party Size: Unlimited.
Difficulty: Hard.
Possible Threats: Anything and everything. More details to come.

"I'll join I suppose. I'm not into the idea of charity, but having my daily life ruined by a bunch of monsters is making me pretty furious."

"I'm always up for helping! I'm not much of a fighter, but I can try my best to heal!"

"As always! A super hero must be there when the time is needed!"

"Hey, this could be fun! Count me in!"

"You have our support from Termina! In fact, I was asked to come here to create some supplies for everyone! Give me a description on a new weapon you want or a shield and I'll craft it for you for free! However, because this is on pretty short notice and I'm not using my own smithy, it'll take me awhile to make them. But! I'll have them made by the time you guys go to retake the castle! So here's to hoping a new weapon or shield will keep you all safe out there!"

Post the descriptions for a new FREE Level 0 weapon or shield and edit it into your previous post. You'll get them once the raid actually begins.

Kiru clutched the flier in his hand. The castle had been taken over? How had this even happened? Luckily, he had made it to the meeting spot pretty easily, and now felt a bit lost. The blue-haired boy knew he would probably be looked down upon, but he felt the need to help. Kiru knew, that if this wasn't stopped here, Kakariko and Zora's Domain would most likely fall to this enemy. He slipped his goggles over his eyes, and entered the camp.

Ashton held the flier she had come across in her hands, the paper shaking lightly as she glazed over the words for perhaps the twentieth time. "So there were survivors of the royal family, so says you flier. Let me judge this for myself then." Ashton tossed the flier aside and rushed toward Kakariko Village to see this 'heir to the throne' for herself.

...Wallowing in misery will serve no purpose. It's time to take action. Hopefully I will be less useless than I have in the past.

Nyles takes a swig of his flask with a bit of his favorite rum the Termina pirates tend to keep. He looked over at a flier waving in the wind. Hyrule Castle needs retaking? Curious. He corked his flask and placed back within his coat pocket. With a huff, he talked walking toward Kakariko Village.

"I wouldn't be a Hero like the Sage said if I didn't stand in the front lines with the rest of them. Maybe I can restart my old guild... No, we'd make a new one. The Blades of Reforged Steel... Hmmmm..." he debated aloud as he journeyed.

Nyles joins the cause!
