If only he understood just why he even bothered getting out of bed, everything would be much easier to deal with. Jacob had another late night, coming home in the middle of the night once again despite the cold snowy weather. It didn’t matter to him that he could possibly get sick. Why should he? At least that way he didn’t have to bother dealing with people. And he would have an excuse to sleep or read all day. Yep. The cold weather was a good thing sometimes. Even though the squire hated it. It gave him a reason why to stay the hell away from everyone. Onward the blonde haired male went down the road, the snow crunching underneath his feet. Where he was headed? Nowhere in particular. Just to get away from everyone else, and spend some time alone. The same thing he did almost every day; read a couple of books. Once in a while, Jacob would maybe talk to someone, but that hardly ever happened. Why should he have a conversation with someone? What was the point? He didn’t need anyone as far as he was concerned. He continued walking to one of his favorite spots just beyond the waterfall, his hands stuffed in his pockets to keep them away from the cold. Probably not the best idea to be out and about on such a day like this, but Jacob could care less about what happened to him. What did he have to live for? Nothing. Or so he thought anyway. After thirty minutes or so, the young squire made it to his destination. He plopped himself on the ground with a sigh. “Damn it. I hate the stupid cold.” He complained to himself quietly. As much as he hated it, he stayed put it his spot. No way would he go somewhere else with people, especially not home. Home meant getting yelled at for sneaking off again. Not something he was really in the mood to hear right now. So in all, Jacob just laid there in the snow, trying his best to ignore the cold while reading yet another book. Made by a Melon!

I had a dream so big and loud, I jumped so high I touched the clouds Scarlett was working her rounds. Sailor was gliding through the sky and honestly Scarlett was getting bored, especially of the snow, god she hated snow. relaxing a bit she sighed, drifting into thoughts of her time down on the surface. It'd never beat Skyloft but she couldn't help but miss the surface for a little bit. Especially the friends she made, thinking back she had to think about Zeek. There was something about him that she found extremely attractive, honestly, and she would only admit this to herself but she thought she missed him the most. She wondered if she would be able to find him again... Shaking the thoughts away, feeling like she should be more serious on duty. Looking around, she noticed a boy laying in the snow, it's not really against the rules or anything, and honestly she wouldn't normallycare if she didn't want to stop thinking embarrassing thoughts about someone who she's not gonna see again. So, she landed next to the boy and looked down. It was a squire... but Scarlett couldn't place a name. Then again, names where never her specialty, shrugging she asked a simple question. " Whatcha' doin'?" She asked, more out of curiositythen him being in trouble.

Great. Just great. Someone had to come bother him, didn’t they? He was away from the village for a reason. And that reason was not to be bother by anyone or anything. But apparently that didn’t matter to the person who had just spoken to him. The nerve of some people. Seriously? Was it really too much to ask to just be left alone for a couple of hours? He wanted to read, and maybe catch a quick nap in before going back home to probably get yelled at again for skipping class again by his so-called father of his. So in all, Jacob continued to read for another minute or so, giving himself enough time to finish off a chapter before actually acknowledging Scarlett’s presence. Books were more important than actually speaking with someone… Well to the squire anyway. He closed the book, placing it beside him and proceeded to sit up, brushing off the snow that had managed to get on him before shooting her a glare of sorts. “That’s none of your concern what I’m doing.” He snapped. “Besides what does it look like I’m doing?”With that being said, in a rather rude way, the squire went back to his book. It would take a lot more to get him to actually have a conversation with someone, especially since he wasn’t exactly in a friendly mood at the moment. Then again, when was he ever in a good mood these days? He only seemed his happiest when he had his face buried in some book. Made by a Melon!
