Stepping off the small boat, Rune looked up at the large island. She was surprised to see that it had so many buildings, compared to Outset the island was actually smaller but the population was a lot more vast. She left Bosco to watch their boat as he did some maintenance and she walked up the streets, unsure of where to start to be honest.
Looking back she was hoping that Calanthe and Shinzou would be here to help her out pretty soon. She looked around, and finally decided to talk into a cafe looking area and looked around. She walked up to the counter, and bit her lip trying to figure out how to word it.
"Hello, I'm looking for someone, and I was wondering if you'd seen a strange blond man wearing a strange green knit hat around? He's big and muscular..." She spoke hoping that they'd know something.

Josh paid his fair that the woman who's letter he had gotten had sent money for. Getting off the boat, he stepped onto the pier, looking up at the island.
He needed to find someone, by the name of Rune Darius. He didn't know where to start... But he tried asking around. The name didn't seem to ring a bell to many... But he kept persisting. He would need her help if he was to do this.
It has been quite some time since Garnet feels as happy as he is now.
He has seen quite some lands, most of them dreamed, but still one can say that he has been travelling much. But no landscape in even the most colorful storybook he had read can match the vast feeling that he get from the Great Sea, its foamy waves swirling besides the hull of the boat he is in.
Garnet did not have a particular plan for taking this boat. Only that the boat was filled with interesting people, and the ticket was on discount. Perfect for adventure.
Moreover, most people on the boat did not mistake him as a Dodongo. He felt that was a good relief.
“Land ahoy, everyone! This is Windfall Island, our last stop. Those without a return ticket and those on discount please disembark here. Take care of your belongings, and we wish to see you again on Octorok Express. Thank you.”
Garnet happily rolls down the boat and stands up, finding himself in a lively street full of strange characters. It seems that people from all races find a reason to stop by Windfall Island, and thread this street along when they are doing it. There are quite some shops and stalls, and an area that seems like a café. Far behind the buildings, in the very center of the island stands a giant windmill, the namesake of the island.
Liking what he sees, Garnet smiled as he walks down the street, Turan and Laran securely placed on his back. He exclaims his feelings rather loudly, which is quite inappropriate. But Garnet has seen a hero in a story does this when he reaches a new place, and Garnet is keen on imitating him.
“Windfall Island! Verily, its visage doth its name befitteth. How graceful yonder windmill is, and most serene!”
He spreads his view and left right, finding many objects that interests him. It seems that the inhabitants of this island have a different culture and different architecture than other places that he has been. Their buildings are rather rounded, and seem to have a special liking for stone.
Garnet likes that fact, and finds himself happier the more he walks. Until he finds himself outside a café looking area, quite teeming with people.
Garnet cannot be more elated than now. “But the tavern! A knight ought to checketh this merry building first, lest he misses any quest. And what is a knight but for his quest?”
Shaking his head to himself in a complete imitation of an ancient drama, Garnet enters the area, and walks straight to the counter. He is barely half the size of almost everyone in the counter, but Garnet does not bother. He has read that size rarely matters.
And he is thankful that no one shouts “Dodongo!” until now.
As he approaches the counter, intending to order the strongest drink available, he comes behind a pink-haired woman who is speaking to the waiter behind the counter.
But for Garnet, she does not seem to be entirely sure of what she is asking.
"Hello, I'm looking for someone, and I was wondering if you'd seen a strange blond man wearing a strange green knit hat around? He's big and muscular..."
It is true. Her tone seems a little held back, and has a feeling that she really wants to find....
Garnet’s eye widens. It is a rescue quest!
Confidently, the Goron Heir tugs the edges of the woman’s clothes a little to get her attention. He has to do this, because his full height is not even half of the woman.
And if she notices him, he would look her bravely in the eye like a true knight should and asks her with his best noble voice, uninterrupted.
Although it can be said that his small voice is more like chirping, as always.
“Din forgives me if it be offense to vie for thy attention, kind lady. But mine ears catch, and them do many words be caught, of thy blond man, thy lost friend.
Prithee, kind lady, dost enlighten me of his predicament. For the sooner so, the swifter mine aid shall come to his.”
Steering his boat in to the Windfall Island dock, Shinzou mutters something foul to himself. He'd managed to come in last, running afoul of some bad currents that had snuck up on him, as well as a shark coming out of nowhere to waylay him and Calanthe. That had taken some doing, but luckily, Calanthe had been able to hold the ship nice and steady while he lined up a good shot. Still, he couldn't deny Rune's excellent piloting of her own craft, though he was quicker to attribute it to beginner's luck.
"Oi, thanks for waiting for me, Rune!" Shinzou calls out, sarcasm on his tone, but light enough that it's clear he's not really upset. "I really appreciate it!"
Shaking his head and laughing, he steps out easily on the dock, extending a hand out to Calanthe to help her if she wants one. Whether she ends up taking it or not, though, he soon walks out to meet up with the leader of their little expedition.
"So, any really quick luck? Or are we going to have to do a bit of digging here?" Shinzou inquires, leaning against a tree, in the shadow. He hoped no one would recognize him...he didn't want some guard detaining him for his childhood thievery back when he was a street urchin. Then again, it's been five years...the odds of that happening would be very slim.
Just then, a rather curious character walks in. "Wow, you don't see that every day! A talking dodongo! Adventure definitely has it's perks, eh?" When the strange being begins to speak, Shinzou laughs. "And it wants to help! Heck, we aint turning any hands down, I don't think. Rune, why don't you explain the situation for him?"

Josh poked his head into the tavern curiously. He hadn't been able to find the woman who Lilith had mentioned in her letter... And none of the townsfolk knew of her. He gave a frustrated sigh as he took a seat at the bar, slipping a few Rupees to the bartender for a drink.
He looked at the people around him... A black haired man with a cap, the surprising appearance of a dodongo, and a girl with blonde hair. Were any of these people the one he was looking for?
