In this HighWater Mark Quest String, we would use a rather different format than what is usually used. Here, the character who posted this (Cadenza) would not be present. Instead, the one who would drive the quest forward would be us, as the StoryTeller.
Wewould like to tell some information before this start. Please kindly read them if you need. But if you do not, then you can immediately jump to replying :-)
1. Information Format
We would post these things to tell the story of the quest. The relevant section would always be in bold.
Location : Dungeon Floor Level, Room Name
This would just be a marker or the room the party or the player is currently in. Of course no room has an actual name, but this would be added just to make it simpler to find things and to let me know which room you are in or intended to go. Usually, the name would just be in number. If there is extra layout of the room required, they will be listed after the room name
All Bold section following a room means the description, items, and events are located in that room.
Description:
The description of the room, in an all-knowing third person view. This would include the general situations, items, and other things that the party would find when first entering the room. Please pay attention to this description, as it would prove quite important. If you find something interesting in the description, do not hesitate to investigate it! We would really like for the character to think as if they are really in that situation. If your character enters a room while a scratching sound can be heard, he/she might dismiss it as ordinary, or searching instead for where the sound comes from. Please remember that in the post your character can practically do anything without being limited to context-sensitive buttons.
And we would try to respond to everything your character do, if needed, even mundane ones :-)
Paths:
Entrances and exits that have been discovered would be listed here, along with their accessibility and position by compass. When you stated that your character goes to either one of these Paths, we would then unfold more location for you.
Items:
Items that can be found and/or interacted with in the present location would be listed here for everyone’s convenience. There would be no distinction between items that can be picked or those that can be interacted with only. But please remember your character’s size and ability.
Please note that the items list is not exhaustive, and *might* omit some items found in the description.
Enemies:
If there are enemies in the room, they would be listed here along with their behavior, if necessary. We would get more into enemies when our first battle commences.

Events would usually happen after a character does something, but Events may also start on their own. Characters are expected to react appropriately to Events, and Events can cut a character’s actions or posts. For example, a Sheikah posted that he jumped onto a platform, threaded a long narrow wooden plank and arrived on another platform. But, if an !Event! happens after the post that stated that a Lizalfos suddenly falls from above and breaks the plank in two, then the Sheikah would be expected not to have arrived on the other platform, and perhaps in the next post would prefer instead to jump back to the safe platform.
This “cancellation” is not intended to limit players, but instead it is hoped to speed up the pace. Players are free to states the character movements and intentions on a post as he/she sees fit by the room Description, and if no Event happened, then the character would start the next post as has been stated by the previous post. This we hope would eliminate the need for a post such as “the Sheikah jumped on a narrow wooden plank” and then stopped waiting for Events, followed by “threaded the narrow wooden plank” in the next post. If the intention is to arrive on the other side then it would be free to state so in one post, speeding up the pace, as long as the timeframe is reasonable.
And Events should not kill unsuspecting characters. We would make sure of it :-)
If !Event! changes the room or enemies or characters, then it would be stated:

We hope that should cover up most of StoryTeller part.
2. Team Inventory
In HWM Team Inventory would be used. This includes picked up items and orbs, and rupees :-) Rupees would not be much, and I am not sure whether it is allowed. But they would be included in the meantime for fun.
Us, StoryTeller, would list the current Team Inventory on Cadenza’s posts. Acquired items would be automatically added. Please note that the items in Team Inventory can only be used in the duration of HWM, and never outside of it. So we hope no character would try to bring that Shield of Broken Fantasy or Life Orb for his/her own and use it outside of HWM.
Team Inventory would include:

All items that can be used, or interacted with, in the team inventory. Please also take note about the items. If the items listing consist of (1) a jeweled belt with a missing diamond slot and (2) a diamond, you might want to put them together and see what might happen :-)
Items such as potions or healing items that are not orbs would also be listed here. Of course, personal items that are listed on each character trackers would not be listed here, since only the associated character can use it.
In Battle Situation, only one item can be used per Action.
Health Orbs: X N
Health Orbs would be gained as the party progresses, and each member of the party are free to use as much as they want, to a maximum of 3 Health Orbs per Action in Battle Situation. No limit would be placed outside of Battles. Since these are shared by all please be sensible, and do try to communicate with other party members. We are all in this together.
One Health Orbs would heal exactly one heart (). Exceptions exist. They can only be used in HWM.
Magic Orbs: X N
Exactly the same as Health Orbs, except that one Magic Orb would give 3 MP () back, exceptions exist. So, if you are a dedicated healer with good healing spells, do not feel deterred by the presence of Health Orbs! In a situation where there are a lot of Magic Orbs but few Health Orbs you would be very invaluable to the party :-)
On character can use maximum of 3 Magic Orbs per Action in Battle Situation. They are also shared, and also have no limit outside of Battles.
Refresh Orbs: X N
One Refresh Orb would fully cure a status effect. We would get into Status Effect when we would be needing it~
Only one Refresh Orb can be used per Action in Battle Situation. As usual, they are shared and have no limit outside of battles.
Life Orbs: X N
Life Orbs are also shared, and have no limit outside of Battles. However, there would be no reason to use more than one, since one Life Orb would either fill all hearts or all magic, depending on the user’s choice. For either choice, it would still fully cure a status effect. Is it not wonderful? :-D Only one Life Orb can be used per Action in Battle Situation.
But, the usage of Life Orbs should be used very sparingly, since if no Life Orbs left when a character’s hearts hits zero, then that character would automatically be unavailable for the rest of the quest (of course, only in one quest. They are free to return on the next quest). One Life Orb would be automatically used when a character is downed, returning them with half of maximum health + half a heart () and half maximum magic rounded up . In a situation where two characters are downed when there is only one Life Orb left, the order of quest application and importance in the quest would take precedence.
So, Life Orbs would provide a challenge. Would you use it now to save your character from a pinch? Or would you save it for someone else who might be downed by the Enemy’s next attack, hoping that your character survived also? But instead of acting personally please act according to your character’s inclination and traits. This is a roleplaying after all~ But remember also that perhaps the character’s greedy action might anger that honorable knight, and that knight happened to be the Party Leader....
And please do not worry, we would make sure that no character can permanently died in HWM, except if the player wills it. (HWM#8 and #9 might be a good place for a heroic end....)
!Important! Items and Orbs (except Ruppees) would be brought from one Quest to the next in HWM Quest String, although exceptions exist. So, please be reasonable, and think about other people who might be struggling in HWM#3 because all Health Orbs are used abusively in HWM#2. Please remember that we have at least 10 Quests ahead of us.
Only one last thing should be said.
3. Posting Order
This would entirely be up for the party, but we ourselves would rather that no specific order needed, to avoid having the third character always be the one who open the door and never strikes first. We would only ask for ratio:
1 Cadenza : 1 each of characters.
So, we think the posting order would be like this:

Location: East Clock Town Bazaar, in front of the entrance to Clock Tower.
Description: It is a before 7 a.m. of a clear summer morning, warm and energetic. People are bustling about as usual in front of the Clock Tower, shouting their start of the day. Some are still sleepy, and an old peddler even falls asleep on his cart. Beside him two merchants are arguing, like so many other merchants in this hour of the morning, In front of the Clock Tower Entrance a boy wearing a Keaton Mask can be seen, standing nervously while holding two pieces of paper and a sack.

The boy wears a yellow Keaton Mask that covers up the whole of his face, the trend nowadays. He also wears a cap that covers his hair, and with white fabrics hanging from its sides, covering the back of sides of his head like an imitation of Gerudo fashion, also trend nowadays.He wears long sleeved local school uniform with gloves, white both. And instead of pants the uniform continues downward forming a robe that covers his legs, like a cleric. All of the fashion can be seen clearly that they belong to that particular school uniform.
!Event! For the First Character that arrives.
The Boy wearing a Keaton Mask runs forward to you, saying happily, “You have come! Thank you for accepting! The ssound is like screeching and metal clanking and it disturbs our house every night! Right behind the Clock Tower!”
He then hastily hands two pieces of paper and a sack, without listening to any response.
“I would love to go with you all, but I would be late for school! Here is the notification paper and a map of my own, because I know the Clock Tower hidden passsage. And this sack is from my mother, please return it to me after this. Bye now! I still have an assignment about Ikana Canyon!”
He runs away, but turns his head at the last moment before he disappears into the crowd.
“And please remember. The Clock Opens at Eight Thirty!”
