The crisp winter air would sting amounst the travelers. And with the small Deku, there would be a book with instructions.
"The ghost girl I'm looking for, is found in the library most of the time. Just enter the Foyer, go down in the hallway, into the courtyard (last door in the hallway) And straight into the other side, is the library. That'd be a good place to start."
And so the young ghost hunters began their quest.

Shinzou was shivering violently, and he was pretty sure he had the onset of a cold coming on. Cold wasn't really something the islanders had to deal with; their land was home to a bright sun and clear skies, most days you were begging for a nice chill. With this, though, he vowed that he would never, EVER take such weather for granted again. Dressed in a fur parka in his favorite blue-and-white shade, he allows the sleeves to flap around uselessly, as his hands are inside the chest segment to conserve what little warmth is available. However, even the inclement weather is not enough to douse his enthusiasm.
"Alright-ty! Sounds good-d to m-me!" He calls out through chattering teeth, and begins walking down the hall.
As he walks, he looks around. The architecture is something incredible, the kind of thing you found only in the wealthiest residents of Windfall Island...only bigger. Whoever had built this place had some serious time and money on his hands...and a pronounced dislike of warm weather, apparently.
"And while we're here, let's see if there's any valuables left around! I mean, a ghost isn't going to have much use for them..."
The ice and snow. It had become a nice home to him, as he dreamed. Of what? Corpses. Dyed in red, reaching; their hands grasping at him, the air anything. Visions of nightmares that leaked behind his eyes; the flashing things that just made life insufferable. There was just.. nothing. Emptiness. The terror of the red liquid spluttering out of the throat; out of the tears and out of mind. It was the colours of death; black and red, nothing more. Flashes of limbs, faces, eyes. The eyes. That's what got to the male; those eyes, dead and yet still pleading, asking for his help; he couldn't stand the very sight of them ironically enough. The cold that bit through him drowned the nightmares; the high keening whine of the winds penetrated his mind.
He felt powerless. His body rolled, as he shivered, feeling cold and yet. When those eyes of his opened, there was nothing but white; it flickered and danced before him, like a field of snow. Then again.. that's where he was. Snow, mountains, and more snow; the icy expanse had claimed lives in the cold wrath, burying it's grudges with the bodies. A dry laugh escaped him; he shifted, bringing his body to full height. Shaking his head of green, he looked around; where was he? Stepping forward, he began to wander; in this white field, where nothing and yet everything were. It was almost calming; but yet, Akira knew this was not just the end. It never ended this way.
And he was right; the land around him started to ooze. Red came out of the ground, and then suddenly became black ink; launching itself like chains, it wrapped around his body. He could feel his mind almost shatter, the pain inhuman. It was like every suffering soul he had caused and passed up were eating him alive. He felt like his being was being swarmed and licked, bitten into by razor sharp teeth. He didn't want to scream. Akira did not want to open this mouth and let these things in; but the pain was too much. Taking in a deep breath to scream, his body jerked. The pain; it felt like he was lacerated by knives, razor blades and sand paper. The pain made the world red, and then black.
And then nothing. He was awake now; his eyes wearily looking around him. Ah? He hadn't heard people had he? His body lifted up, a large amount of snow just dropping off of him. Oh. He had been here a while. His face felt pretty numb actually, as he shook his green hair. Seeing some people, he decided to wave, as he approached them. ''Yo.'' he said. Hadn't he signed up for some quest a bit back? He had gone up first to scout.. oh jeez, he hadn't made it back had he? That was almost a failure as a wanna-be squire; oh well. He'd failed worse; though the face of his saviour passed in his mind. No, he would not fail this.
''I'm Akira I guess. Pleased to meet you all.. let's get inside soon shall we? It's a bit cold.'' he said in a pretty light tone, despite the fact he had just kinda walked out from a snow pile, having been there long enough to be buried. Though lucky for him, he was pretty frozen, so he didn't even feel the cold! He just hoped they got inside so that the wind would stop putting his hair BACK in his face. Yup. He was completely fine. Completely. Nothing wrong. Nope. Well, he was pretty sure about that.. and he knew he was rambling. He had to focus despite how pretty that snow was.

If Ban had any reservations about entering the creepy, old, abandoned and probably haunted mansion, they were currently being completely drowned out by how absolutely and miserably cold it was. Turns out he hadn't much prepared for the ridiculously cold weather, and now it was biting him in the ass. His robe offered him moderate protection from the wind and snow, but that didn't stop him from shivering due to how abnormally cold it seemed to be. Seriously, this place was like if someone dumped a freezer into hell right after it had frozen over due to some ungodly coincidence occurring.
So Ban trudged his way up into the god forsaken mountains without complaint, even as he inwardly vowed never to set foot anywhere near snow again in his life. The mansion coming into sight was something of a godsend to the young Hylian, and his pace dramatically increased in an attempt to get to some sort of shelter. He barely registered what the other members of the party were saying, acknowledging Shinzou's desire to go treasure hunting with a quick chattering nod. He gave slightly more attention to the comment of the one who identified themself as "Akira", if only to voice his agreement.
Ban brushed his way past them, his discomfort at the cold overpowering his usual meek attitude. He'd regret and beat himself up mentally about treating them rudely later; But that was something to worry about when his limbs weren't going numb and he could stop shivering for more than 3 seconds. He made his way up to the door, of the mansion, pausing momentarily before turning to look at the others who were gathered.
The chilling winds blew across the snow-capped mountains. Visibility was obscured by the falling snow. The temperatures left one feeling chilled to the bone. Despite the freezing temperatures, even those who climbed the mountain unprepared for the cold weren't in immediate danger of dying. This came most evident by those who were gathering in front of the frosted mansion.
"Yoooo~ Ish a little cold up here isn't it!"
The purple-robed figure trotted through the thick snow up to the door. His nose was a bright pink, but his cheeks were a rosy red. His coattails were coated in a thin layer of ice, but he seemed unaffected by the cold. His only additional supplies for traversing the mountain was a jug that he had tied around his right hand. He took a long drink from it and let out a happy sigh.
"Introductions aside, you all look like you're about to freeze your hind ends off."
Nyles walked past each of the other members of this odd quest. He gave a nod or a smile to each one of them before pushing open the doors. He stepped inside and gave a look around before beckoning the others inside.
"You guys should have gotten some of this firewater that they were selling at the base of this mountain. I can't feel this cold at all~"
Malos was freezing. Unlike any of the other members of this expedition, the deku had neglected to bring any form of winter wear with him and thus had sluggishly made his way to the meeting place. If it wasn't for the fact that he was monotone and his skin couldn't change color; if he could he would no doubt be blue corresponding with how cold he is.
"S-s-s-s-sorry I-I-I-I'm l-late-ate-ate." The frosted plant being said when he came through the mansion door. "I got cold and started to move slower." He hoped that his companions would understand. "So what is our plan for dealing with the ghost girl?" He asked them. They had all been here longer than he had so Malos assumed that they had already made a plan.
