Today had been more then a boring day for the young Kokiri. Laying with the sun shining on his pale skin, the Kokiri couldn't really help but have an itch to want to do something. He honestly wasn't sure what. He'd pretty much mess with everyone he knew how to mess with. Malvis groaned his voice making a loud enough noise to make a few birds fly off. He really was displeased with how things where going lately. Malvis had a dislike of things being to slow and it would honestly drive him crazy, and things had been awfully slow lazy. With all this pent up anger he would have to really do something to get people riled up.
Next to him was one of his best friends. He wasn't quite sure why she stuck around with him. But he had to admit she was a great person to help him pull tricks on and he honestly liked having her around. She was at least nicer to her than anyone in Hyrule was to him, and that was saying something.
His other friend, was off doing something silly Malvis was sure. Not sure if they would want to come on a new adventure or not, all Malvis knew is that they would be missing out on whatever he would come up with. He'd make sure of that.
"So Mia." Malvis started to ask looking up at the sky, wondering as to what to say next. "What should we do today?" He asked feeling a small breeze come along blowing his long green hair away with it. He couldn't shake the feeling that today could be big, if he would just get up and make it.
The sun was bright and the sky was calm. Only a small breeze and the ever present moon disturbed the lazy day. Mia had snuck out of her father's house, again, and met up with her friend Malvis. Though he looked younger than her, Malvis seemed more mature than Mia.
Despite the relaxed nature of the day, Mia was tense. For some reason their other friend didn't show up today. Apparently something big was happening somewhere else. "I don't know what to do Malvis." She groaned.
Then she thought of something. "Hey, I did hear a rumor that the Mask Salesman was back in Termina. I don't think we've pranked him yet." She told her friend. Anything was better than this lull.
Back growing tired, legs becoming wobbily, Lucian wiped a drip of sweat rolling down the bridge of his nose. That was the last time he was ever going to make a trip from the swamp back to Clock Town in less than a day.His hair a mess, dark circles forming under his eyes, the young man was in no mood for playing around and the like. Only being able to sit on a log, not too far from the town itself, Lucian reached into his pocket for a bottle of water, only having an inch or so left in it.
"Damn. I should've filled up on the way back." Holding the bottle to the bright, airy sky, he examined what he could get out of it. His amber eyes glanced back towards town. Should last him until he could get to the milk bar. Grunting, he leaned forward, gulped it down before feeling his head nod forward until a keese ran ahead, not bothering him in the slightest - except for the annoying bawk.
But there was just the nagging feeling in the back of his head - like something was going to through him off course. Just like those damn big Octo on the boat rides. (At least the boat ended up doing the dastardly deed.) Then again, the festival was supposed to be coming up soon and there were always mishaps going on. Lucian kept telling himself that, as it was the most logical of answers right now.
"Maybe if I just take a nap...I don't think anyone..." Yawning, he pulled the bag of masks from his back, wrapping his arms around it. "I don't think anyone is really going to take any. No one in...." His head lay forward in the one area no mask seemed to take hold of. Snuggly as it was, a soft tuffet of 'zzz' could be heard.
He looked over at his beautiful companion. He hadn't even thought of that. What a good idea! He'd only seen the mask sales man once in his life to be quite honest. But that HAPPENED to be this morning when the unlucky sucker was walking into the swamp. He probably was still in that area too.
"I'm pretty sure I saw him wandering into the swamp this morning." He said with a nod. Nothing really got past Malvis if it was happening in the fields. He wandered around them far to often. The green haired lad, jumped up instantly landing on his feet. He smiled back at Mia, his eyes challenging her to a race as his feet quickly sped towards the area. Honestly, not looking back again until he reached his goal.
Luckily, Malvis wouldn't have to deal with any annoying Deku as the mask sales man was there, sleeping. Oh, that silly guy made it to easy. He chuckled quietly. "Here," He held out a bottle full of some gunky water he'd found. "I'll sneak behind him, and scare him. Then you dumb this on his face alright?" Malvis giggled, pleased with himself for the idea.
So none of those freaky Deku guys this time. Good, Mia wasn't used to that wooden race, they were just so unlike what she knew in Labrynna. So stiff and unwieldy, no fun at all.
The girl had to stifle a giggle as she nodded to Malvis' plan. This boy had so many good ideas, some stuff Mia would never have thought of on her own. Mia grabbed the bottle of filthy water and waited for her cue. The grin on her face stretched from ear to ear.

Pleased to see his friend and partner on his side, Malvis had to hold back his excited laughter. He stealthy ran over to the mask man, hiding behind him. He looked him over once, memorizing him to be sure he remembered this moment, and.. he glanced over at his bag of masks. There, sitting on top of all the others was a bluish-purple mask with large creepy yellow eyes. Malvis stood and stared at it for a moment. He was drawn to it, it was like it was calling to him. But.. that was dumb. He shook his head and looked back at this target, but it was nagging him.
Sure, Malvis was a prankster, but he wasn't a thief. Still.. he really... he wanted that mask. He wasn't sure why. It was creepy and weird and it wasn't something he'd normally be interested in, but he just.. well. He was already considered a bad guy he was sure no one would judge him or put it past him to take it. So instead of focusing on the masked man Malvis slipped his hand into the bag of wonder, and pulled out the strange bug-eyed mask. Biting his lip, Malvis had a feeling of guilt for a second, before shaking it away.
Looking over at Mia, he motioned for her to follow him. And Malvis quickly ran off, leaving the poor victim alone. He had no clue what was up with the mask but he would for sure find out. When he reached far enough off, he stared at the mask even longer. Running his fingers over the painted surface. He wasn't sure what was up with him, but he was officially obsessed with it. "What a dumb mask." He said with a laugh, wondering if he was finally losing his mind.
Mia followed Malvis to the sleeping victim. She crouched on one side of the salesman, waiting for her friend to spook the hapless sleeper so she can splash him with the gunk water.
What happened instead confused Mia. Malvis grabbed a ugly looking mask out of the salesman bag. It was all spiky and weird looking. Malvis motioned for Mia to follow him away from the mask man. She stood there for a few seconds just motioning to the bottle of water she had in her hand still. Sighing, Mia dropped the bottle in the soft grass hoping it didn't break. With any luck Lucian would wake up and take a drink from that, that would still be funny.
Chasing after Malvis, Mia briefly thought that he seemed to be moving faster. "Hey Malvis, why'd you do that for?" She asked when she finally caught up. "Why would you take such a dumb mask?" She looked at the hideous thing with disgust.

The grass below him ruffled itself just a little bit. Still asleep next to his bag of masks, Lucian never woke up to the feeling of movement, his bag being prodded with the hands of a particular Kokiri, one that he had not run into as of yet.
Drip, drip. Water was sounding somewhere, or at least a drop of it. His eyes, fluttering open, moved line of vision towards a drink towards him. Goddesses, was he thirsty right now. Lifting up the glass, the mask salesman questioned it. His throat growled for it - wanting it to quench his thurst. The transparent cup to his lips he chugged down the foul liquid. His eyes were straight faced as he watched his bag...
"....Something seems off..." He questioned himself. His hands lay down the glass, not effected by the liquid at all. Fumbling with his hands, Lucian examined his bag. His eyes growing larger by the moment. A mask was missing. All his masks could be accounted for. He made sure of it. Breathing becoming raspy, his fingers tensed.
Lifting his tired yet adrenaline filled body, the young man whipped his head over the place. He could see nothing. Out of all the masks to be stolen. Majora's Mask. That deadly thing. Squinting, he could tel it was not gone long, as laughing was lifted through the air.
"Damnit!" Lucian clenched his hands to his side. His teeth gritted. Burping, he held his hand over his chest. His mind was racing with what could happen. People were around Clock Town, they moozied their way around.
Woodfall was...the only other option. And damn, he was not planning on going back to that hell of a place.
Cheeks puffed up, Lucian lifted his chest. Closing his eyes, Lucian screamed curses towards the thief that stole the Mask of Majora. The day was growing nigh - and any want of looking for this mask was subsiding.
He laughed. "You little shit. I'll find you... No one ever steals my mask and gets away with it." Though he would regret it, Lucian grabbed his masks and placed them on his back. The goddesses would curse those that took what was his. And boy, hell was coming their way.
Mia had later caught up with Malvis, who was still tenderly hold the mask. Still transfixed in it's strange beauty, Malvis laughed a bit. Never looking back at Mia as he responded. "Why not?" He said. "It's not like he needs it, he has millions, and look how dumb this one is.. creepy as hell though."
He finally glanced at Mia, regretting looking away, but he pulled his eyes away. "Hey, we could use it to scare the shit out of some sorry sap." He commented, feeling himself slowly slip the mask on. And instantly, Malvis knew it was a mistake. He could feel it, he could feel the evil spirit slowly take over him. He grabbed the mask to take it off, but it simply wouldn't let him. Eventually, Malvis stopped struggling.
Looking over to the swamps, one could almost feel the deviousness overwhelming Malvis. Chuckling. He headed into the swamp. "Yes..." His voice was a lot quieter and stranger then he'd ever been. "Let's go scare the shit out of some sorry sap." And with that, Malvis rushed into the swamp.
[Malvis exit, end of thread unless you guys want a final post]
"Malvis! What are you doing?" Mia was worried. She wasn't to sure about that mask. It had been hidden pretty deep in the salesman's pack, almost as if he wanted it forgotten. "I don't know about this, maybe we should take the mask back."
But it was too late! "MALVIS!" Mia screamed. Her friend put on the mask and immediately tried taking it off again. Mia even reached out to help, but something held her back, or forced her back.
Her friend stopped his struggles and ran into the swamp. "I have a bad feeling about this." Mia told herself before following him. Whatever he had said just before he sprinted off was lost in his quiet tone. She ran after her friend of course, couldn't leave him alone at a time like this.
