Well this was probably the ugliest shop that she had ever been forced to sit around. She had been brought and sold, brought and sold, and well, she would have rather been sold to any other store but this one. It was dingy, and not exactly a place that a fairy like herself wanted to be stuck within. But, she went wherever the jar went, and she had been worried last week, when she had been handed to an overly-muscular man with very hairy arms and a mean expression. And she had every single right to be. Because now she was stuck here.
The worst part was that it was normally so low on light, that Kit could hardly even see anything on the shelves, aside from the things directly beside her. And that was only because of the natural, maroon colored aura she gave off. There wasn't really much for her to do around here. At least the last shop keeper had seemed to realize that she was still a living creature, even if she was trapped in a jar. She actually liked to talk to people...or in this case, having people talk to her. She never really spoke back to the clerks anyway. After all, the jar created a little trap for her voice, so she really couldn't even if she wanted to.
So she waited, day in and day out. What she had wondered most though, was why no one could seem to spark a bond with her. She had been sold from adventurer, to shop, to Adventurer, but every time, she always ended up back on a shelf. It was quite saddening, especially because she had really like the last adventurer who had purchased her, but she sold her all the same.
An actual city. Malos was in a state of awe while he walked through Port City. Most people here seemed used to seeing strange things so he wasn't bothered very much, just a few thugs that he had run away from.
The young Deku stopped in front of a small store. Out of curiosity he went inside and browsed through the items. "Uh, um, mister clerk guy? How much is that fairy up there?" He asked the man behind the counter. The Hylian store owner just grunted and pointed to the sign underneath Kit.
Fairy 30 Rupees
Thirty rupees? That didn't seem like to much. Malos thought he had just enough to help the little fairy. Well, kinda. He had a red rupee for twenty and a blue rupee and five green rupees. The clerk didn't seem too happy to have to count all of the rupees but transferred Kit to Malos' bottle anyway.
Malos quickly left the shop and hid down a narrow alley. Carefully he removed the cork from his bottle and let the fairy out. "H-hello there l-little fairy. My name is M-malos. What's yours?" He asked, stumbling over his words a little. no color words
Kit had just run out of things to look at when the bell on the door chimed. She stared out of the jar at the strange creature that had walked through the door. A deku, she knew these creatures, but she didn't know that they ventured out into cities like this. Or that they spoke english. Then again, she had never taken the time to speak to a Deku before, so of course she wouldn't ever have known.
She didn't know what they were saying, but when the shop clerk roughly grabbed hold of her bottle and quickly moved her to another bottle. She had to admit, at least this bottle smelled much better. She sat down on the bottles bottom, staring up at the person who now had her in his grasp. She didn't really know. As he headed outside, she watched him duck into an alley, and then, he undid the cork.
She flew out, grateful that she was finally able to breath the fresh air. She was very pleased with the fact that he had let her out, but maybe he didn't understand the concept of fairies in a bottle. She fluttered around him, listening while he introduced himself.
"Do you know exactly what we fairies do exactly? We heal you when you let us out of the bottle, and we leave, that's it." But looking at him, she couldn't really find a reason to just fly off and leave him there.
"But...you did get me out of that shop, so I guess I can stick around you for a while. Nice to meet you Malos, I'm Kit!" She answered, a bit more of a cheery sound to her voice now. She landed on his shoulder, crossing her legs as she sat down.
"You're a forest creature right? What brings you all the way out here?" She asked curiously.
Malos watched with wonder as the little fairy flew out of her glass prison. He expected her to fly away now that she was free, but instead she lectured him about proper use of a captured fairy. "Oh, okay. I'll remember that for next time I guess."
"Um thank you Kit." He responded. "I"m from Termina, do you know where that is? I came here looking for a way back but everything seems so expensive." That was true, why did the people here think that a boat ticket needed to be that much. Maybe if he found a cheaper boat.

He seemed very gullible to be wandering the streets in a Hyrulian town, that was for sure. He seemed to have no knowledge of the place whatsoever. He had to have not been from around here at all. In fact, Kit didn't know many Deku in Hyrule. Of course, she had never bothered to meet them until now, but she thought they'd at least have some understanding of their land.
But her suspicions were confirmed when he said he was from Termina. Had she heard of it? Of course! Did she know much about it? Well...no. Her brain was jam-packed with things about Hyrule, but if you asked her any questions about Termina, you'd have better luck finding a needle in a haystack when it came to searching her brain for the answers.
"No I'm afraid I don't know much about Termina past its name." She answered, flying back into the air. She glanced around quickly for Magey, who she had seen lounging around outside the shop not too long ago. The bird would come find her whenever he realized she wasn't in the shop, that she was sure of. But when Malos mentioned that the tickets seemed expensive, she nodded.
"Well those people at the port are always looking for Extra Money. I'm pretty sure if you were to head uptown you could find someone who was selling boat tickets for cheaper." She explained. "Why not go take a look? I'll come with you!" She assured him. Of course, most of these tickets were sold by shady looking bums, but from what she had seen they normally did the trick anyway.
